universal9gsm
Obviously Avic D2 cant have bluetooth so i was wonderinggg will a parrot bluetooth kit 3200 LS-Color work perfectly with Avic d2 because i heard parrot mutes ur radio when a call comes so u think that universal mute that parrot supplies mute avic d2? let me know wha u guys think http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_788 ... 200LS.html this is the link to the product
spider2k
why cant it? the bluetooth modules work, they are just very limited and quite frankly suck when used with the d2. a parrot kit is a universal kit to be used with any vehicle.

whtcrxghst
It mutes any radio, OEM or aftermarket. Should work great with a D2

universal9gsm
can u confirm the radio mute and the phone call thru the car speakers and the call quality
LUNARFX
Yes please elaborate more...
offroaderf150
yes it mutes the radio and then runs the sound through all 4 speakers. sound quality is good...i can understand everything like i have the earpiece on. the parrot wires inbetween the stereo wires. meaning they have to be cut and run through the parrot module...if you have a volkswagen then its a direct plug in b/c theyre VW plugs on it. i just cut them off and wired them into my f150. universal9gsm
when u say cutting the wires in between is there alot of modifications needed?
offroaderf150
not a lot of modification. just take the 8 speaker lead wires, cut them in half and wire in the parrot between them. the parrot has color coded wires (white, grey, purple, and green).
BigFloppy
Trust me guys, the Parrott is well worth the effort! MUCH BETTER than than the Bluetooth adapter on the Z1 anyways! I installed one into the wife's car and wish I'd picked up 2 of them rather than just
cntrylvr79
If you don't want to cut off the ends on the parrot harness you can pick up a 70-1784 and a 71-1784. Those plug into the parrot harness and will give you the raw ends needed.
WayneMan71
if you would rather just have a plug and play solution you can also check out http://www.parrotkits.com/index.html and you should be able to find what you are looking for. If you have any questions, just send an email. My experience is a reply usually within 24 hrs. I hope this helps, Yes the smoke is normal.... do you have an extinguisher?
