bostonvr6
I have an Avic-N1. Im still using the original MT40 disks. I registered my S/N with pioneer. I thought they are suppose to send you the lastest maps disks for free? One person at pioneer said yes...and another said no. Anyone? How did you guys get ur newer disks? whtcrxghst
No, you buy the updates. Or some people steal them off the internet and burn them
frindim
This is untrue. When I bought the Avic-N3 and when I read through some of the included documentation. It states that if you register it after purchase you will recive the next update disk. The rest you will have to pay for. Never the less, even if they do give you trouble, call and complain, they will cave. Tomorrow I will be calling and doing the same. Come to think of it, I never recived my rebate... sna77
No, you buy the updates. Or some people steal them off the internet and burn them I just called Pioneer. There is a distinction between upgrade and update. Update DVD's are free (i.e. going from CVDV-60M v1.0 to 1.2) Upgrade DVD's you pay for (i.e. you'll pay $250 for CNDV-70MTP)

Just rolls the updates into upgrade discs.

I told him he must never had used Sirius because it sucks.
