whtcrxghst
Yes, its a noise cancelling mic so you shouldn't flush mount it
i had my microphone flush mounted into the overhead light console when i make calls everyone says it sounds muffled is it possible that the microphone has to be dropd out moreso and not Flush mount? thanks
johnpsc
The Z1 mike appears to be omnidirectional. Have to wonder whether an A-pillar mounted unidirectional mike might solve the problem once the audio is moved to the right side of the vehicle.
06SaleenX
thanks for the tips had them pull the mic out and now its clear an non muffled :)
marinecorps_1775
What solves the echo problem? My callers all complain about an echo, I'm only at three bars on my volume. The mic and/or the voice cancellation algorithm in the software are faulty.
03Aviator
Nothing really "solves" it at this time. I have my volume turned down, the mic next to the driver's A pillar, and the audio playing out of the right speaker only. I have no echo. But you have to listen carefully because my volume is low (about 3 bars if I recall)
