MaroonGT Posted August 22, 2007 Report Share Posted August 22, 2007 Hi there, i've done the bypass and itsworked greatfor a week....then i tried uploading my oown backgrounds and apparently it didnt work....when i put in my burnt disc it said please insert appropriate disc...oh well...so i put the origional disc that came with the d3 in and it keeps saying insert appropriate disc...ive reset a few times and disconnected the battery for 10 mins...still getting the message. what should i do?? gr33ko Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 IDK whats going on with your Map Discs, but if your disc with the pictures has any random files (mpegs, gifs, etc.) that the unit cannot read (or you have more than 20 pictures on the CD itself) then it will not read it. Aconite Posted August 28, 2007 Report Share Posted August 28, 2007 If you (or somebody else) run into that problem again, try "downgrading" your firmware to the version that is on your original disks. I know you didn't update your firmware, but it will rewrite and reset everything. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
