MIGGERNAUGHT Posted August 27, 2007 Report Share Posted August 27, 2007 i went to the local car toys out here in seattle and the guy tried to steer me away from the z2 to the $1400 kenwood.. looks neat but i have spent a lot of time on this forum looking up the z2 and reading your posts and whatnot. anyways ill be getting one of these soon, and want to know what you guys would reccoemdn doing first after i get it out of the box. when i install it should i do the wire bypass and then upgrade the rom with the disc image file provided from another thread? or just do the disc image only? (Z2BypassUpdate.iso) also is there any map upgrades i should look for? im going to get the bluetooth xm, and backup cam too... anyways your input is really appreciated... throwin this into an H3 by the way. And you may get a "newer" one that does not need to be updated with that disk. action Posted August 27, 2007 Report Share Posted August 27, 2007 I'd say do all your "add-ons" at once. this way you only have to rip your dash apart once. And the wire bypass as well. It won't hurt anything, and once you upgrade your Z2, the bypass will work and again, you won't have to rip your dash apart. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
