jokers000
on a d3 unit u could have the ipod playing while the screen is on the navigation?
whtcrxghst
Yes, you can do that with ALL Pioneer navigation/ipod combos. If you use a D2, your limitation will be the one line of text so you will have to choose whether you want the song title, artist, etc played, you don't get them all at once like you do with a D3 on a d3 unitu could have the ipod playing while the screen is on the navigation? GnatGoSplat
That's not the only limitation... the worst one is it stops what's currently playing when you browse. It does this because it tries to cue up each and every title you land on when you browse so it would take almost forever to get to a particular entry in a list. jokers000
thx for the reply and what about with the ipod connected with the CDIB100II, do the ipod power on and off when the car is turned on or off?
GnatGoSplat
IB100 and IB100II are the same electrically, the older one is silver and has an Apple approved cable with 2-wires, newer one is black with Pioneer's own generic single cable. With both, the iPod powers on and off when the car is turned on and off.
jimmy303
And charges the whole time it's hooked up to the CD-IB100
