tekurtz
I've only had my 7000nex for about 6 weeks. CarPlay has worked fine from day 1 using usb1. I went to plug into it today and it didnt charg the phone or recognizing the phone on the head unit. Figuring the extension cable came unplugged I pulled out the head unit and reseated the usb, nothing. Swapped it over to usb2 and the phone started charging but since it's usb2 I got to response from the head unit. I can't find this being a common problem on the forum, anyone have any ideas? Factory reset? Are there fuses for the USB ports? Thanks
onebyside
First thing I would have done is factory reset. Its free and simple.
tekurtz
Ya, I'm willing to bet it won't do anything but take up another hour of my time setting everything back up. I created a trouble ticket with Pioneer, I'm going to ship it out in the next week or so if nobody else has any ideas.
rockthebeef
Like you said, it would take an hour to program everything back to how it was after a factory reset. Seems like a reasonable thing to try before you send the whole unit back (which you'll have to reprogram anyway). That would take much longer than an hour.
