camilok
I am using this one in 8000nex - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00904JILO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage i use a usb wired charger behind the dash to power it. It works very well with a rooted android phone and AR-unchained.

sodbuster95
I use an Amazon Firestick as the HDMI input on my 8000. It's not an Android stick, but the theory is the same. For power, it's plugged into a USB port that's in the center console, so everything remains out of sight. The Firestick remote is wireless, so I can control it while it stays hidden. Works great. Kura
Will CarPlay be disabled while using this android stick? Does some special patching is necessary to use it or just plug to HDMI and launch APPS on headunit? Would be nice to have access to google maps from time to time
