shacall Posted September 26, 2007 Report Share Posted September 26, 2007 Hi, I currently own a D3, and am able to play movies via my iPod...onto the NAV. I'm looking to purchase a D3 for my wife now, and have a question. We currently have an Alpine screen and DVD (detached) player for our kids in the back. Can the iPod movies be directed to the screen in the back, and NOT on the NAV? I'm trying to replace the DVD player (which is now dead), with a simple iPod that will have all movies stored within. If this is possible, can she still use the NAV when the iPod is playing the movie in the back? Many thanks! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The Z and N series don't do it either, only DVD or A/V or whatever is on the front screen Bummer...can I accomplish this with the Z2? I'm trying to get rid of the DVDs. Thanks for the reply!
