Two_Cold
What version of software are you using? If you have the newest DVDs then there is no hack yet.
wastedtime2525
Sorry but im new to this. I just installed a Avic N1 to my cousins car. And I would like to use the DVD while in motion but cannot. Can someone help? if you're using CNDV-40MT disks then just ground the parking break wire and you'll bypass it. If you are using 50MT disks or greater then you need to connect two jumpers opening up the unit and shouldn't be attempted if you don't know what you're doing, but the how-to guide is on this forum as well with pictures. Otherwise you can send it off to this ebay guy to bypass it for you which i did and works great with 70MT disks http://cgi.ebay.com/BYPASS-AVIC-N1-unlo ... dZViewItem
Two_Cold
I didn't know there was fix for the N1 yet. Thanks for the info. When I upgraded to the newest DVDs (70) my bypass stopped working and I just connected the parking break and gave up on the bypass. In my Dad's Dakota, the screen opens up and is so high that any car that pulls up beside him can see the screen. So watching a movie while driving just don't work in that truck.
