teccec
I'm having the Z2 installed tomorrow so not able to respond to your direct question, other than to say I joined Netflix and copy about 5 DVD movies a week onto a PC and in to iTunes so about 50 or so at a time can be on the 80gig iPod. Tomorrow I'm scheduled to have the Z2 installed in a F250 with the iPod adaptor which will push video to an aux input, and am also installing a power converter and 2nd input so a Playstation2 can be connected. Hopefully we'll both see responses where folks say the video looks great. The downside (I understand) is we'll have to control the iPod from the iPod itself, as opposed to using the Z2 to control when playing music. Not a huge deal, but irritating since I'd rather leave the iPod hidden in a glove box and only use the head unit's controls. Hopefully a future update will accomidate the video iPod better. whtcrxghst
Buy one of the cables for your ipod that outputs audio/video from the headphone jack on one end, and RCAs on the other (red, white, and yellow.) Plug those RCAs into the A/V input hanging off the back of the head unit. Turn TV out to 'ON' on the ipod. Go into the menu of the head unit and turn the A/V input to 'Video' and you are good to go. To get the video to your rear monitors, go into the source menu and change rear screen to 'Mirror' All controls will be done from the ipod
