I installed an A/V cable so i have something but i would love to use the interface. please help. thanks.
whtcrxghst
I would check your power, ground, and P-bus connections again
bigblackf350
i have removed and installed this thing three times. Pwr and GND are good. i have tried different p-bus cables. i have swapped interface boxes. the guys at car toys said the head unit might just be bad.
whtcrxghst
Have them try your ipod adaptor out on their display Z2 to test it

bigblackf350
i have it hooked up to the constant 12v and ground that is powering the head unit and if i test with a meter it all checks out ok. should i try reseting the head unit. if i do that what will i lose? poseidon5
just resetting the unit shouldn't cause a problem, just lose your presets and whatnot. although i don't think that will solve the problem. if the ipod won't even turn on when you plug it in, have you tried plugging your ipod into something different? another unit? or a computer, just to see how it reacts?
