stockproipi Posted October 25, 2007 Report Share Posted October 25, 2007 This is what Kevin Massy wrote in hist CNET rewiew of the D3: En route to the required destination, the Avic-D3 uses turn-by-turn voice prompts (including text-to-voice functionality) to call out turns and the names of individual roads. I have a D3 and it does not call out the name of the individual roads. It just says left and right. What is going on??????? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
drayla Posted October 25, 2007 Report Share Posted October 25, 2007 not getting the D3 installed until tomorrow but my D1 calls out 'some' roads... mainly those with number...highway 101... exit 454 etc...actual names would be nice... allthough i usually turn her voice down.. really hope there is an option to turn her off without losing the confirmation tones now Quote Link to post Share on other sites
