nrg
I thought that the Z2 system learns the routes you take? I have this place that I go to each day and I always take a street that the NAV didn't tell me to take so I was thinking that since I go this route every day, the next time I set the course, it should use the street that I took from the previous time but it doesn't. Anyone know why?
whtcrxghst
Are you setting the route each day, or just driving that way?
nrg
I set the route to be on my favorites, so I just press on it and confirm it each day. Please note I am only setting it cause I want to see if it will take the route I normally do. Otherwise why would I need to set it as I know how to get there since I go there each day. mikek
I haven't noticed it learning anything. -mk
burniksapwet
I would like to know this too. I called Pioneer and they told me it takes about 6 to 8 times of driving to that place before it "learns" it. My avic z2 is new so I have not been able to do this yet. S.F.W.
as long as you set a route, the unit will learn your preferred route
nrg
as long as you set a route, the unit will learn your preferred route Isn't it obvious you have to set a route for the guidance to start? Or are you referring to something else?
NoiD
it doesnt learn at all... i take the same route to / from work everyday - and just to test this "learning capability" i set the destination everytime. still screws up BOTH ways...
