AVIC-D1 Clock?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys... I guess this is another dumb question but I searched and couldn't find the right answer..

I saw on another website that the AVIC-D1 does not have a Clock on it anywhere. Is this true? As my biggest concern would be I am taking the factory radio out and I lose my clock.

Is there a button on the D1 that will allow me to see the time at a glance?

Cheers

Not true. While in th audio mode hide the information and the clock will appear. Really stupid that Pioneer did not put the clock at the top. Also, if I recall the clock is alway available in the nav screen. The time comes from the GPS sat's. You have to set the "time zone." That is set in the time button in one of the nav setting, I think .

Thanks. I am trying to gather as much info as I can for when the unit goes in my truck on Thursday next week.

Got everything I need I think. My P920XM showed up yesterday and the D1 was here on Thursday! Earliest my installer could get it in was on Thursday next week. So now I stare at the boxes and it drives me nuts! LOL

The installer knows the Bypass as he has installed many of these units into my style of truck.

Any other Tidbits I should know before using the unit?

Cheers

Whit

Are you talking about the D1 or the D3? Because that's how you do it on the D3, I just don't know if it's the same on the D1.

What he said. And the clock is most definitely in the nav screen all the time. Have to press hide to get it in the audio screen
