DJ Hellfire Posted November 23, 2007 Report Share Posted November 23, 2007 I have a D2 coming in next week and Crutchfield says no double din navi units fit my car. But I have seen the D2 installed in an Elantra that same generation as mine and it looked clean with no gaps. So I just wanna get any tips from anyone that may have installed one in this car before I get caught by surprise. I had an old double din Aiwa cd/cassette a few years back and all I had to do was install the stock radio brackets onto the Aiwa and it fit perfect. Is the D series pretty much the same thing? A lot of times Crutchfield will say a double din unit won't fit if the OEM unit was a single din with a din sized pocket or something above or below it. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
