TheEricHarris
I have the AVIC-D3. I have all speakers/subs on external amps. Can I turn off the internal amp since I'm not using it? Also, anyway to turn off the amps from the D3? When I power it off, the amps remain on. Thanks!! Eric
whtcrxghst
No, you can't turn off the internal amp. If your external amps are not turning off when you turn the car off, you have wiring issues. If they are not turning off when you source the deck to off, they aren't supposed to. That way you still get voice guidance from the nav even when the deck is off
HiFiSi
Wire in a switch on the amp turn-on wire.
