LS2 KLR
I found out quickly that the Z1 does not accept mp3s. I then copied some music in wave format. It coppied a few songs but would suddenly freeze, saying unreadable disk. Any idea how to correct this?
rrmccabe
Load regular CDs. It will only rip regular AUDIO CDs. Not DVD, Not MP3, not WAVE.
AndyWear
What? The Z series don't play mp3's??
whtcrxghst
It plays them on a disk. But to get them loaded on the HD, they have to be uncompressed What? The Z series don't play mp3's??
rrmccabe
"07 Trailblazer SS(wife's): 22s, bolt-ons...just your average 500hp suv." I know this is off topic. But what bolt-ons? 500hp is a stretch for your average bolt ons. I am tuned, intake, UD pullies, E-Fans, stall, stage V trans, etc.
LS2 KLR
Will be at crank. I'm waiting for a cam at the moment. Right now it just has pretty much all the bolt ons and a deep pan and cooler. I picked up 60rwhp. I'm hoping to get another 40rwhp from the cam.

That sounds about right for decent bolt ons. Good luck with the cam. Its tough to squeeze that much without doing heads too. Have you been to tbssowners.com? Good site. dawgbone
Dyno chart please??!!?? If it's AWD, you may be askin too much. I know I can't find a AW Dyno without at least hopping a couple of state lines... They're pretty rare to come by. If you live in a "Smog" state(i.e Cali) then it's probably easier to find. I'm sure you've ran across http://www.silveradoss.com. Alot of the engine/tranny stuff crosses over...They have a couple of members doing some really cool stuff...And I'm assuming you all know Zippy? for entertainment stock block Vortech SC....dude now has a built 6L+ motor http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=y5k0gI1wjWc random vid http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=fGpdGo4SLQo&NR=1 and fun thread(sorry, got to be a member to view pics) http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index ... opic=37674

If at wheels, holy shit what kind of bolt ons? A stock SS TB runs what 330hp at the wheels depending on AWD 2WD maybe a few HP difference? thats over 100 hp from bolt ons? What kind of mods do you have? EDIT: Never Mind just saw you said crank. Still very nice. I love the SS TB.

He has Trailblazerss.com too. There are some trans stuff that crosses over, but not too much motor. I go to silveradoss.com sometimes as there are a couple locals I know that play with the SSS. TBSSowners.com is by far the most active of the TBSS sites. There are a lot of California guys that can help you with a dyno. You will find the fastest TBSS trucks in the country there. We have a couple guys in the 10's and one just turned a 10.21 I believe and is pretty sure 9's is in reach. I have a slow AWD and I am just in the 12s. LS2 KLR
The cam I am looking at getting is a vengeance racing VRX3. I don't have the specs on me but supposedly they have found that some of the smaller cams are actually putting out bigger numbers. I'm going to install a 3k stall as well. The only thing that may stop me is the tranny. They are obviously extremely weak. I'm suppose to have a hookup at the local chevy dealership. I'm gonna ask him if he will upgrade my tranny when it gives or if I buy the parts will they cover the labor. I'm pretty sure he'll be okay with it but if not, I'll just install the stall. I actually regret not buying the jeep srt8. I should have at least looked at them. From what I've seen, they have a much better interior and obviously alot faster. I just thought since I was familiar with the LSX motors that I would just mod it. Considering I only want to get mid maybe low 12s out of it, I could have done that with ease on the srt. Oh well... I'm a member on TX-SS.com and trailblazerss.com, as well as several lsx sites.
rrmccabe
I agree on the small cam. That is what we have found too. The guy that owns TX-SS (mikeG) is the Admin at tbssowners.com Most the guys from TrailblazerSS.com have left and came over here. I have a Yank 3200. I regret going that small. 3000 is not enough for these things. I would be afraid to do a stall on a stock tranny. That will finish it for sure.
dawgbone
Crazy...alot of SSS owners actually turn to the TBSS for it's TC... 3200 stall is crazy Well at least for a daily driver.... I'll have to dig into this....I have no idea of a TBSS's gearing...
