LS2 KLR
I tried to load a cd with jpeg pics on it but nothing happened? Any suggestions?
whtcrxghst
Did you follow the instructions? Or just put jpegs on a disk?
LS2 KLR
I did the smart thing....put jpegs on a disk, lol. I looked over it and will be trying again tomorrow. Thx
rrmccabe
You have to create a folder called Pictures on the disc with jpegs in there. I also added 100 meg of junk files outside of the pictures folder (read this on another thread). I dont know if it helps but I have no issues. Make sure your jpegs are formatted to the right size. LS2 KLR
I haven't had a chance to mess with it yet today but will eventually. Is there a particular size I should go with or just don't exceed the maximum?
rrmccabe
500 wide x 240 tall or 1000 wide x 480 tall. either will work. Keep in mind on your splash screen Pioneer will add their crap at top and bottom. So you might want to do an image towards the center so its not getting covered up. As an example I made a splash screen for my TBSS. Notice how I left it blank at top and bottom.

Just to put it out there, if/when you unlock and/or upgrade your drive...You can easily get rid of Pioneer's crap on the splash screen... Again...just putting it out there. [edit] Oh...I was trying to help a fellow Avic411 member get pictures loaded up and uploaded this to one of my servers....It's just random pics/junk...but if you have a hard time with it, download it, unzip it, and burn it to disc.....you can drop your own pics into the folder, burn it, and it should work... http://flemdawg.com/Pictures/pictures.zip

azian_aztec
If you're using Photoshop, be sure to save the JPEG as baseline (standard) and NOT progressive. I think progressive is the default for Photoshop. Here's an example. I'm a big fan of Exact Science clothing.
