trey5320 Posted December 17, 2007 Report Share Posted December 17, 2007 I was thinking about upgrading my D2 to D3. I wanted to know if the d3 could use the same wiring as the d2. So basically i just want to remove the harness, antenna and other stuff from the d2 and plug in the d3...will that work? I also have XM, backup camera and the ipod cd-ib100ii, will that work also? trey5320 Posted December 17, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 17, 2007 okay will the wires for the cd-ib100ii be the same because i dont know how to change the wiring the harness, is that hard to put on? also is there any special wiring useful or extra to do? i know that my installer didnt hook up hte illumination wire, so that will be put in tomorrow...anything else feel free to add..thx Quote Link to post Share on other sites

whtcrxghst Posted December 17, 2007 Report Share Posted December 17, 2007 If you are paying an installer to do this for you, it should literally take him minutes to switch over the harnesses. The CDI200 also just plugs directly into the back of the D3 and then run it to wherever you normally plug in your ipod. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
