  1. IS there a mod that lets me specificy, by typing, a road to travel via. Thanks, e39m5
  2. I do not have the digital TTF in my igo. Just to be clear, I want to add the font file itself rather than the zip, right? Thanks, e39m5
  3. Hehe, I tried to update to the 4shared data.zip file just before leaving for a 5 hour trip. The system ended up rebooting once it got to the menu screen in an infinite loop. I walking my passenger through backing up the data.zip as we drove, fun stuff =D Any ideas what could have gone wrong? I'm running unofficial 3.01 e39m5
  4. So am I right in thinking the direct link I used from the thread for 3.0 isn't completely updated? e39m5
  5. Did you test the radio before they did the swap? My Volkswagen had a factory antenna issue that affected AM stations. I did the install myself and the antenna was definitely easy to screw up. I ended up soldering the blue antenna booster wire to the blue wire with a white stripe from pioneer. If I remember right, apparently you can usually solder blue to blue, but the manual from Pioneer says not to use the solid blue for an antenna booster. You can try plugging in the other antenna?
  6. I've had iPod connection issues with my unit F90BT since day 1. Very few iPods connect like they're supposed to. For some reason, the unit very rarely detects that an iPod is connected. After I plug one in, the USB icon will remain rather than switching to iPod. Occasionally, the unit will see the iPod, and then it will lose it in the middle of a drive without me touching anything. Sometimes, after numerous reconnects I can get it to find the iPod again, other times I'm stuck listening to the radio. I updated to 3.0 (not with the official update), and there was still no improvement.
  7. My iPod hookup rarely detects an ipod, so I called up warranty today and they said to ship it over. Is it going to be a problem if I upgraded to version 3 without paying? Do I have to downgrade before shipping? Thanks, e39m5
  8. Do I bring it to an apple store to update the firmware?
  9. I have a first gen iPod Touch. I believe your version number indicates second gen? Though I'm not sure. e39m5
  10. I wish I knew about this earlier, maybe we can do a group buy to get these things into the US? The fact that AM/FM seeks is most likely Pioneer's fault, since when you push left and right on the knob it also seeks rather than run through presets. American International's faceplate was full of headaches and I can only imagine this one is nicer. My AI plate still doesn't sit perfectly flush and it doesn't seem there is anything I could do about it. What piece are using to clip into the OEM harness? e39m5
  11. Sorry my thread wasn't clear. My main question here was how to get the auxiliary input to work, and I guess the answer is EXT2. I'll try that tomorrow. Regarding the iPod Touch, I've yet to to find a member on this forum with a 1st gen iPod Touch that works, but I've found plenty with an iPod Touch that does not work. I just got off the phone with Pioneer, and they are saying it is a problem with my Touch, and I should try and find another touch to see if I can get it to work. I'll try and hookup my friends touch tomorrow, but I highly doubt it is going to work, given what I've seen
  12. You didn't read my thread correctly. My iPod Touch doesn't work, I've gotten iPod Nanos, iPod Videos, iPod Minis to work fine. The problem is not my connection, its Pioneer and the lack of integration with the iPod Touch. My question now is, how can I use the auxiliary input or the RCA jacks to hook up my iPod Touch without integration, because it's quite clear integration is not going to work. e39m5
  13. The iPod Touch does not work with this unit, which is frustrating enough. But I haven't been able to find ANY way to get music to play from my ipod, which is completely ridiculous. My old HU had an auxilary jack. I would use a wire to attach the auxilary out from my ipod to the auxiliary in on my radio. Id hit the aux button on my radio, and everything was fine. Why can't I do this on my F90BT? I've tried attaching through auxilary on the front of the head unit, and through the Red/White RCA IN jacks, and I can't get either to play my music. Please help. e39m5
  14. Were you playing back from the CD or directly from your computer?
  15. The hardware is nice, but the software completely fails at taking advantage of it. If my unit is displaying a page with a scroll bar, the knob should function as a scroll wheel. Tapping the screen is obnoxious in these situations. I haven't used the nav yet, but I will soon. My ipod touch really needs to work. Bluetooth seems fine. I should be able to voice activate a specific radio station, or atleast scroll through radio stations. Pioneer is crazy for releasing this unit in its condition, especially under the premier name. It clearly was not tested in a driving envi
