Posted Oct 04, 2008 · 22:19 UTC#80

when you click this link

ftp://vwinvoices.com/vwinvoices.com/uploads/

does it ask for a username and password?

if not you need to go to tools and click clear private data and make sure cookies are checked and then click "clear private data now"

then retry the link and insert credentials guest_uploads guest1234

then navigate to east folder and click east disk.zip

Posted Oct 04, 2008 · 22:32 UTC#81

yeah i did all that and allowed cookies but i still could not do anything

Posted Oct 04, 2008 · 22:45 UTC#82

where did u buy from , that type if media is hard find?

THE VERBATIM DVD-R DL

I found them on the internet. The disc increments were 1,5, 10, 25, 100, 1000. I needed about 200 for a video that I did and it was just a little bit more to get 1000 then 200. It has been about a year but I just searched for it and was able to find it. I like Verbatim because their hub printable DVDs allow to be printed the closest to the center with not giving me an error every other disc. I have about 300 left and I have only had 8 or 9 that did not burn.

Odd. Burnt the disc with MagicISO, *burn cd\dvd* and burned the ISO files to a DVD. Put it in, reading..readding...error reading format on the D3. This is with the larger .rar file, ISO. Whats the deal?

Posted Oct 04, 2008 · 23:35 UTC#88

what i did on the first one was just use magicISO to open the file from the rar. file and exported it to another file and then used another iso program to make the iso and then burn it and it worked for me. so you might try that.

raiden let us know how it turns out

I'm currently burning the dvd, can't wait to try it! :)

Just tested it, works like a charm!!!!

But what a rip off! Maps are dated 05/2008!!!!! It's already 5 month old!!!

Incredible!

Why is'nt there an option to download new maps when we want to, just like other gps!

Posted Oct 04, 2008 · 23:58 UTC#91

Is there a free software that will bur this ISO?

Thanks, Jason

It would be nice if the Map Company included future roads ... There is a road in my town they have been working on for about a year ... it opened up about 1 month ago to traffic. Sure enough it's not on the new disk. It just has me driving through green ....

I did the same thing and would like to know the answer to this question.

Mine was on an N1. I finalized the DVD and it said "Please Insert App. Disk".

I have a question. I've burned the DVD and it updated my D3 fine, new maps work - but I no longer have voice navigation. I can't get the 'guide view' to work anymore (it's grayed out). Anyone else have this issue??

Hey guys if you are having trouble download the newest version of winrar, and download alcohol 120%. It works great with those two programs. If you have any questions PM me.

I downloaded the .zip file, unzipped it with winrar (I tried with the zip utility in windows but I had errors) then burned with ImgBurn at 2.4x on a Memorex DVD+R DL Disk.

During the past year, I have submitted some changes to teleatlas about a few roads in my area (local road that was not existant and they also built a single lane highway) So far, all the changes I have submitted has been fixed. I have not checked everything but i'm pretty happy with the new version.

Note that this is an map update. I went a little bit through the menu and nothing firmware seems to have changed. only the maps.

Good luck!
