So, I downloaded LeetLauncher 2 and played with it a bit. From what little I could tell, I have a few questions:

Same here. Checked with different phones, no luck. Went back to the dealer and they couldn't find the problem too, so my F900 is sent back to Pioneer. Hope they can solve the problem?!

I'm pretty sure if I load avic first it loads up the Pioneer version of iGo 8.. which sort of makes the whole thing moot. let me try it though..

what I meant was, if you have your sd card in and the launcher comes on then load avic first and your ipod and phone should work.

but if your using igo as main interface then it will not work. the purpose of the launcher was to be able to use different maps for other countries or better accuracy.

leet said he would try to get bt working though and he was also trying to get other gps application to be tied to map button so you can use default avic software and functions.

This happens me on 3 locations, from my home work and a colleage his pc.

I live in the Netherlands so is the file somehow forbidden to download?

It download to 100% and after that it gives a error mesage.

Did download is from other site, did search on google.

But have nothing to do with firewall etc as i can doiwnload the 1.5 version without a problem.

Looks like a windoze security/firewall and/or exploder problem. I tested the download a couple of minutes ago with no problems at all!

The bugs are so anoying that i deinstalled the software.

Everytime it kept asking for my password.

I'd like to get rid of all the navi software except for tomtom if it gives me a quicker load.

Also i'd like to use GPSDash on the machine.

Hope you can accomplish this.

Maybe I'll donate once this all works.

hey I am in the process of downloading everything. I just want to understand 2 things. 1 is does it run?on the SD card or does it download to the player? and 2 is how the heck to you get it off and back to normal (very important it goes back to normal) if things get screwed up?

it works.

1. download files onto your sd card and start car with sd pushed in. if you want to use ipod then start avic first before choosing other gps.

2. to remove or not use just don't insert sd card. the launcher runs off the sd so nothing copies or installs onto the unit itself.

you guys should try reading the thread first or at least skimming through it.

I made an attempt to get caught up on the latest and greatest regarding everything. I appreciate the response and look forward to playing around with it.

Not to be strange or anything, but have you tried just "clearing" the password? It shouldn't ask you once you do that.. And really, if someone steals the radio, having a password on it isn't going to make them bring it back...

ok i finally managed to get this running and i replaced the data.zip file but now i cannot get to the reg pioneer menu screen that lets me choose the audio source...i pressed down and menu but to no avail...any thoughts?

does anyone else find that pressing menu whilst in igo8 takes them to the map screen, I have the Aus AVIC F900bt and would love to get this to work as my unit came with R14 maps and I've manged to d/load r15 which seem a little better, but I can't get back to the the launcher screen so that I can then load the Pioneer interface, after loading IGO.

Any Ideas.

did u download the txt file and menu data fix? if so this is how i got mine to work

after i loaded igo i pressed down on the knob and that takes u to the launcher screen, after that you press down on the pioneer logo, it takes a min to load up but after its loaded u can go to source, contacts etc...then press map to get back to igo

hi, has anyone figured out a way to automatically launch the TomTom GPS software then launch the AVIC interface upon bootup?

Also, I would like the MAP button to take me back to the TomTom interface...not sure how do-able that is though.

Can somebody explain me how the leetlauncher works? The folder testmode triggers the AVIC to go into windows CE but how does windows know from that point which file it has to start to get the leetlauncher screen?

after you install these you can minimize the launcher and switch between the maps and avic menu

When Garmin will cease to lose the satelites? Who is ready to pay diligence to that in a condition to solve a problem.

To get IGO8 to work with AVIC software, launch IGO8 first in the beginning. Now to go back to the launcher you need to press MENU to minimize IGO8 ( the screen will look like it is frozen). Now you can press DOWN direction on the knob to access the Launcher again. You can now Launch Pioneer AVIC software. Wait for it to load fully. After AVIC software is loaded you can access IGO8 through pushing the MAP button through AVIC software (you dont need to go back to the launcher). It basically replaced the original IGO software for the session.

The other problem is ,I always have to readjust the volume, mapcolors in igo8 after switch of on with Launcher v2.0. (restart)

Don't know about volume, but for map colors open the SYS.TXT file of iGO you are running form Launcher and look for interface section:

[interface]

...

default_day_color="COLORSCHEME~Pioneer Blue Day"

default_night_color="COLORSCHEME~Pioneer Blue Night"

...

Change default schemes to be what you want. Also, I _think_ that if you exit from iGO before shutting down the car it should save settings, including color schemes and all...

I am still trying to get Garmin to keep sat signal on, can't get it working. Any member outthere have any suggestions or solutions to this problem. That is about the only thing left to make the LeedLauncher perfect for me. The signal seems to work until I drive away for about 30-40 seconds.
