IDT, I moved back to your mod from Matt's/ Really like the style.

Two problems, I think I can fix one with a reminder.

1. My clock won't auto update. I had no problems with the previous mod, but this one reverts back to 5 hours ahead every time I shut the car off.

2. I don't like the tilt on the GPS, I can mod that in sys.txt, right. I like some sky to show instead of looking like I am falling out of a plane

1) try deleting all the stuffs in your saved folder except for favourites.dat

hello how are you doing i was just wondering why when i press the power button i get an error about not finding the speed cam files please help. also just extra information i dont know if know this already but i have a ppc phone with i go8 and renamed the map files to the same way the unit would have it and my unit recognized it.

 

what error is it givving, could you post a picture if possible, what version are you using?

what i would suggest is for you to redownload the a the data.zip and before you install it delete the contents of the save folder except the favourites.dat, haven't had the problem myself though,

here you go, this 3.8 version would be for non-US/Canada users, i didn't bother fixing the mph values as AFAIK you guys are using kmh, the zip file is called non-US Canada v3.8

Could be why I am having those problems? I deleted the stuff in saved, so we'll see if it helps with the time issue...but I reloaded the datazip and still do not have a skyline as in your pics. As I said I had it with GTI, and didn't change any setting in the navi menu???

gentlemen please dont get mad at me but i am new to this stuff and im old. can anyone help me learn how to do this stuff before i mess up. i have all the stuff i need i think. sd card, 2.0 usb etc. but i try to open up my sd card and my computer says i must open it with another file opener? but then what. im lost..........what programs do i need to play with this stuff? anyhelp.............

and another thing on the navigation, is there anyway to make the screen stay as if i were driving and not like im outside the car?

I had that problem too. What I did was a few things. First I modified the included SYS.TXT file to set:

reset_os_timezone=1

as this is how my previous system was set, and then when I booted into the leet launcher mode, I adjusted my timezone through the Windows Time/Date thing prior to copying over the new ( 3.8 ) data.zip and sys.txt files. I dont know which change made it function correctly, but it works now. I am also in an area where automatic time updating doesnt seem to work (so says the AvIc), and even set to manual and adjusting the timezone, prior to these changes my clock would be on London time after every restart.

as for the warning voice volume slider, if you guys notice before the volume is linked to the key volume, still trying to figure out what valuemodel to use for it,

do you have the smartzoom on? it should be set to off

Hi idt ,I have a question, when I use cmh928 mode shows me the names of the streets up to 5 blocks ahead, your mode shows them until I cross for them, what can i do to fix it.Thank you
