Hey CMH-

Wanted to let you know the problem cleared up with my AVIC. I had to restore from backup. There was something in my old config that I must have tweaked that did not agree with your data.zip. For anyone else that needs a backup of the original untouched config you can get it here:

Thanks,

My reboot and error message problems seemed to work themselves out as they no longer occur at all..?? I hope they stay away as I haven't had any problems with the prior 2 AIO mods.

Nick.

Rebooting on home icon push only happens if you aren't fully booted yet or don't have GPS signal yet. As stated earlier, new versions are in 7-zip format. Follow the instructions in the first post and readme, and you'll be fine. If you continue to have problems, redownload and reinstall. Make all settings in the NaviSettings menus before trying to navigate. Mods work best on a previously unmodified unit. Street name visiblity is related to tilt angle and zoom. Turn on the controls and set them where you like, or enable smart zoom to have it adjust automatically as you approach a turn.

Have you even looked in the custom spedcam options?

Unless you updated your maps, Sam will work fine. She NEVER reads the name of a street if it is too close (as in SHARP left). If it is over 1000 feet away, she will say it fine.

You were right, I did some driving that was not on tight city streets around the house and she speaks just fine... I always used Jason due to stock Sam being terrible... Thanks!

In this update, i really have a disabling reboot when you want to navigate and you have no GPS signal. The previous update was better for it.

thanks so much for this. I guess I would be considered a noob in the avic arena, and this was so easy to update, and you guys did an awesome job. Everything I hated about the pioneer software, you guys fixed!!

Thanks again!

Hi Folks,

Newbie here. Thanks for a great mod Cmh928. I installed his yesterday and absolutely love it. However there just one problem…all my Nav/Destination/MSN Direct menus are in French.

edit - the system setting is set to English

Could someone please help me out as I would hate to go back to the old file?

Thanks

Hello Midnight,

That was the first thing that I tried. The system setting does show English but all the nav/destination/msn direct menus are in french.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

The GoHome script is still OEM Pioneer as it always has been. The only difference is it's available from the map screen and not a sub-menu. They ALL do this if not fully booted.

Also, be sure to go through EVERY submenu of navisettings and pick your preferences as some of the variables may not be set properly if you don't. If settings don't stick between reboots, you have a corrupt file in user\userdata on the avic. This is a leading cause of reboots.

I absolutely love this AIO and everything but just like a lot of others, once I downloaded this, all the buildings that where there before are all gone! I live in a small city (Green Bay) so I know that there won't be much to see but I live three blocks from lambeau field and it was there before and now there is just a empty spot on my screen. I spent the better part of the day yesterday reading posts and trying to figure this out including driving by the stadium multiple times with no luck. Usually I can see the stadium and a few other small buildings on my screen as soon as I turn the corner from my street. I would consider lambeau field a large structure/building no matter how small the city of Green Bay is so what gives?

check your settings, it might just be that the building settings is off

It's also possible that there is a difference in building files for your area. The files in the AIO are the most up-to-date available. In my area they added several new buildings and arenas over the OEM ones, but also removed a few churches that used to show up. You may want to load the older file for your state. Overall the newer files are about 16MB larger than the old ones but a few states are actually a few KB smaller.

Love the new Samantha. One funny problem though is, with street names like:

"148th Ave NE" (One hundred forty-eighth avenue northeast)

Samantha pronounces that as "One Hundred forty-eighth avenue Nebraska"

Which is, you know, humorous...is there a way to fix that? Street names that begin with NE, as in "NE Union Hill Rd", are pronounced correctly.
