I just ordered mine as well. Wasnt corina but was a very nice woman who took my order. Gave me the 60 price right away and informed me it would ship late july or august as right now it is just a preorder.

Got mine ordered. I ordered 2 - I have two units. Probably could've gotten away with one but if I was wrong and it wouldn't work on both, I didn't want to pay full price! I'm a sucker I know.

you will need one update per unit. you were right to order 2 for the special price. Its because of the updated mapping software and licenses.

Just ordered mine too... 60 plus 4.95 and 5.. it was not corina, maybe Beta? She mentioned that she had to update the price though.. So all was good. Just got my email confirmation. She did say though that it will most likely be end of July/August when they ship. Just wanted to make sure I locked in the lower price. Thanks for updating that it was available..

just placed my order as well. By now she already knew, didn't even have to tell her what the order was. I don't know if it was corina, but she sounded hott. Lol. $65 shipped + tax = $70.. i'm good with that, considering I didn't pay no where near the msrp for the unit.

now to just get it hacked...

I am just curious and have a question for someone that successfully ordered the update. Did they ask you what your serial number was for your nav system when you were ordering?

I remember people saying the updates were linked to serial numbers and therefore not shareable. If people were able to order the update and no serial number information was given then that claim was bogus and the update could be shared.

They did for mine. Searched for my name to make sure my unit was registered.

The map updates are not shareable! Quit asking this and try reading before posting things that have been covered millions of times already. Posts like this are why this is already 25 pages. You cannot share because of licensing for the map updates. Its no different than if you go to a store and buy an update for a garmin or tom tom. You have to register it by serial number when you install it. One update per unit.

Me too. I didn't think of checking my registration as a way or retrieving my SN# on my unit, but they pulled me up based on registration

she asked if I had an account. I told her I registered my unit. Then found me. I'm thinking they will link the S/N and data together. Or they must have included something in the sd cards so it can only be activated once. something along those lines. although, i can be completely off.

I think they are checking s/n because only US units can get the $60 price. If you have a gray market HU, they might not sell it to you in the reduced price.

I havent registered my player, is back of the unit the only place to see the serial number?

I contact Pioneer Europe in Belgium and they told me i have to order the update by a Pioneer reseller. They told me it's not for sale yet at the moment. They expect next month
