Those guys were already gone (or planned on leaving), and from what I've read mostly because of people trying to mod, breaking their gear, and blaming / getting mad at them. That's just name of the file, but i've zoomed in so u can see "090428"... that is 28th April 2009.

I called Pioneer right after I saw the link on their site and got this very nice service rep who told me that she would check this out. I finally heard back from her today.

here is the quote

The introduction price (limited quantities) is $60.00. We should be

Just got off the phone w pioneer. I called to order the $60 3.0 w/maps. Apparently, there is a free 3.0 upgrade because when she didn't ask for a cc#, I asked her if she wanted it, she said it was free.

I told her I wanted the $60 maps/3.0 update. She did some checking and said it was $130 and no other pricing is available. I told her a 'friend' had gotten the information yesterday about the $60 pricing (see previous post) and she asked for the rep named that told him that.

A little conflicting information. Anyone get the $60 price??

I called to see if I could order, and could not. According to who I spoke to (USA) they can not order it yet as it is not available, and the only info they have on it shows the $130 pricing.

They told me that they do not have a definite ship date. July or August. Hopefully sooner than later.

I called Pioneer also and was told that the update was not available "at this time." She said it would be a few weeks before I could possible order it. What's the deal?
