What is the exact procedure on updading to this new file please?
I would really like to know myself.. every single step.. would save me $60

Sk360 pretty much just gave all the steps, if you are not familiar with modding your unit please read up or spend the $60. I take no responsibilty if you brick your unit, and keep in mind you will loose ALL previous mods.
1. Flash the updated wince image following these instructions http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=25424&p=172862&hilit=service+menu#p172862 EXCEPT choose the update WITHOUT formatting option.
2. Boot into testmode using v2.3 http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=25329
3. Replace the original My Flash Disk with the My Flash Disk you just downloaded.
4. I dont know which version Sk360 is uploading but the other one is 3.0 so you will need to update it to 3.01 following pioneers instructions if you want the latest firmware.

So after u put this 3.0 image on (IDT V3.5) download the 3.1 and out it on as per pioneer webiste intsructions?
This gets confusing cause the instructions are for a reboot fix? I now have 2 files the new x series 3.1 update and this IDT V3.5 file. So u are saying to copy just the bin of the v3.5 file then apply the new 3.1 update? I have a F900bt does this mater? Just want to make sure cause i never done this before?

download it from ftp://www.turboss.com Username: avicuser Password: Avic411and click on f700bt then at the bottom you will see x900 click on that then download 910backup.zip its way fatser than the link I sent you hanibal.
But read the thread I linked in the instructions and read the first page of this thread http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25487it eplains how to flash the new ce. What your downloading is the My Flash Disk.

Hey guys, big thanks to tk for starting the upload... I just got my internet back and am uploading the zip file with the x910 full flash disk to the same folder he was on turboss.com...
I upload at over 550KB/s and it will be done in 42 minutes.
Flash the new CE Image from the update on Pioneers website as had been discussed before, boot into test mode and overwrite your files with the ones in this zip and enjoy
So the website is 3.01 u flash that then replace the files from the zipped ones correct? 
And this will be the exact same upgrade for 60$

THESE are the files from the \My Flash Disk folder from a X910BT... FLASH with the newest WINCE files that are in the 3.01 zip on pioneers website, copy the files in the 1.56GB zip file I just uploaded to your my flash disk, then apply the official pioneer update...
Done.

Honestly if you cant figure it out from the instructions I posted do not attempt to do this. There is a good chance that you will mess something up and brick your unit. I suggest you start reading up as much as possible and get test mode working and eplore in there for a while without touching the files. Once your comfortable with that then try to get into the service mode. Once your comfortable with both of those things and you have spent hours of reading then maybe give it a shot. After you do that I will be willing to help the people PM'ing me as much as possible but for now im waisting my time.

Are the files on the server corrupted, i can't seem to download them. f910bt one says file doesn't exist period, and the other starts but stops suddeny at 500mb saying file doesn't exist. I've tried them multiple times. something is not quite right.

What is the first f910bt one? What is the difference between it and the x910bt backup? Anything? Or is it the same file/version etc? Does one have the patch applied 3.01 and the other doesn't?
