Everything went so smooth , i was at the point of buying a new deck due to me deleting my maps on a previous occasion .This solved everything and made everything so much quicker(like it was suppose to be ). Everything works

I'm running 3.0 with the 8.0 hacked Igo, brazilian maps...works perfect....just rename the 3.0 apl2 folder and copy the apl2 folder from version 2.0....

EVERYTHING seems to be running perfectly on my BT700.
i just have one QUESTION, the folder "DUMPFILES" didnt appear after copying everthing over. While it is empty anyway should i go back and drop it in??? EVERY other file went over ok
(the weirdest thing was the Calibration was SOOOO off in WinCE that i was forced to use the ON SCREEN KEYBOARD and commands since i could not click the top menu icons lol)

My install stops at step 4.4. Cannot get it to do anything after that, when I insert the sd card it doesn't do anything. Anyone have any idea's what the problem may be?
The download for Testmode 2.3 seems to be corrupt. It stops at 688kb here and I've tried multiple times.
It did the same for me, testmode 2.3 packed only come to 688kb and it say that the zip file is wrong and damage I have downloaded more than once.

Can someone post what files and folders are in testmoe 2.3. I am getting different # of files with different archive utilities. OP says the size should be arounf 1.5 MB..maximum I got was around 900 kb.

I had the same problem. the solution is all over these threads. You're holding the eject button too long. Hold all 4 buttons. First, let go of the reset button. Then once your deck starts to make the eject noise, let that button go. Then hold the other 2 until you're in. After that, you should be set. I know I was.
Here is my Testmode file. Just unzip & put on a SD card.

yes... u can put them all on one 2GB SD card... just be sure you are coping the right files to the right place...

this means exactly what it says... copy the "testmode" folder to the SD card... otherwise testmode wont work! durh...
and yes it has to be unzipped... i swear some of you guys cant even manage to unzip a file... I dont think you should be modifying your AVIC... i mean its not that hard is it?

i only have a 2GB sd card and i was going back and forth between the pc and the car to update and when i go back inside to load it with the 1.59GB sd3 data load, for some reason, it runs out of space at around 995MB. its a 2GB card and i formatted it! i tried a few times and it still thinks it only has about 1GB space on it.
can i start all over again once i have a new SD card or is the system bricked? i get a blank screen after the pioneer logo screen.

um you should be able to fit all required files onto ONE 2GB SD card... be sure you disable hidden files... maybe there is a hidden file in there thats taking up the space?
This is what I did:
I had the WINCE files on the root of the SD card
And the TestMode folder containing the small files required for testmode to work.
then I made a folder called "My flash Disk" so I know which files to copy and then I dropped the torrent files into this folder... be sure you're only copying these files into the avic's "my flash disk"..... make sense?
all the files total are just under 2GB so everything fits just fine... not sure how you have managed to fill it up...
