Can you post MD5 sum?

Files are very large, and before I fix my unit, I want to know if I'm using good files.

Hey guys i need some help. I've read extensively on the upgrade to 3.0 but i'm stuck at step 7.

when i choose the update SD format for the winCE all i get is 'read progress 100%' at the bottom and that's all it does....

please help my f700bt is a nice brick in my car right now

I had to redo that step a few times, and it finally worked the third time.

how long did it take you? i've tried about 5 times and lt is sit for a good 5 minutes each time and it just hangs...

lol right after i replied it worked.. THANKS! 6th times the charm it seems on with the rest!

the specific install is it compatible with f900 bt European edition? i have read the question again through the 8 pagew of the topic but not the answer does anyone know? has anyone use it in European F900 bt?

and secondary if we put the 3 firmware from here then we must update in 3.1 using the x series update? not the f?

and one last question after passing 3.0 or 3.1 how easy it is to return to any of f900 firmware because if i understand right the f900 will became x series am i correct ?

i keep getting the unexpected end of rar.. when i try to open the file from the link provided on the first page..

Install (WinCE) upgrade no problem, install (testMode V2.3) SD card hit reset button, Pioneer logo comes on, screen goes black, Any suggestions?

What is the reason, that there is no such way to update the f500bt?

I mean the f500 users will have to use their original pioneer sd cards.

Got it to work fine in my 700BT. By default it turns the back up camera on, I just had to shut it off. Thanks for all the work.

I've read a few of these post and "tried" to update my f700bt when i got to the 2nd step it never asked me to override the files it just started to update then when it was done I could not restart???? I hit the reset button and how after the spash screen it just go's dead

I finaly got it! My f700bt is now 3.0 updated and working better then ever! I used 1 2gb SD card

A couple of things I didnt under stand:

1st. you need to load the card with the "testmode" folder inside the testmode 2.3 folder

2nd. you need to open the x910 folder till you get to "My Flash Disk" open it then "copy" all and paste in my flash disk

using one card to do it all I guess confused me i'm not as savy as a bunch of you guys but I still done it two

Can I use this tutorial for my F700BT?

What am I doing wrong? Everything seemed to work fine but... My splashscreen loads and my music plays but my actual nav just gets stuck in the "system loading screen" and resets itself every 3 minutes. So frustrating! I don't know if it makes a difference but all of the files were downloaded to a mac then transferred to my SD card. Don't know if there is any mac conflicts with these files. Any help would be greatly appreciated. How do I get this thing to work? I am going to have to start from scratch?

thanks for this perfect guilde except Testmode 2.3 is not working, not a big deal, but have to dig it out searching whole forum. WinCE is still 5,?? it's Pioneer's buil;d numberng tat's somewhere in the sixes.

Testmode 2.3 does work, though...

The test mode link is corrupted, I'm only getting about 688kb file. Can someone please show me where to download a working file? Thanks.
