Well checked my OopsPS tracking number today, Says: In Transit Scheduled Delivery Date:08/14/2009 (Updated)

Now i wait.

I think West Coast users will receive them first. I checked UPS last night and the number was not in the system; today, it said "out for delivery". So I think the upgrades are sending out from west coast.

Mine's scheduled for delivery on 14th...

EDIT : The shipping box is HUGE! The actual update comes in a CD case.

EDIT2 : Looks like you need to get the media key from the SD card and a device number from your unit and input it into the pioneer site. Then they will give you the passcode for the install.

EDIT3 : Looks like the passcode is only used for installing the maps (SD card #2), and not the firmware update.

great, hopefully that is the case where we don't need a passcode for the firmware. Now hope is that someone upload that firmware.

This is some randomness.

So I had a $68 transaction pending on my cc from pioneer and got the notice that it shipped. But today that pending transaction disappeared. Weird.

just received mine as well. the box is a waste of a box. Lol. I've just received the confirmation order last night. It did ship from Long Beach, CA and I only live 35 mins from there. Hence, the quick shipment.

Of those of you that got it today...

Did anyone install it yet? Does it look like you will be able to install it on multiple units? Has anyone tried to install it on multiple units? Is it all its cracked up to be? If it requires a product key and activation... has anyone tried to build a keygen?

Just curious... I know that I am not the only one thinking these questions!

got mine today and have installed the 1 sd card - had to go to a pioneer site to get a password to install the 2nd sd card - got the password and disk 2 is being installed right now - takes about 6 minutes for the first disk - says it takes 40 minutes for number 2.

just finished and big problems

keeps saying "system startup in progress Please wait"

then after a period of time reboots

Same thing happened to me TWICE!! I don't know what the heck they are doing.

do you have to remove all the mods before installing. Or will the update overwrite everything?
