this software is mind blowing. i have been watching it develop for a while but i didnt do any installs until today. it is a bit much work but well worth it. idt i will b sending a donation your way.

I noticed you have been taking suggestions soo....

it would be nice to have a quick launch button to the audio settings i listen to multiple genres so i find myself switching between setting in there quite frequently. and i dont know if there is a msn direct button on there i only skimmed through the buttons. i dont know about others on here but i can deal with not having the night/ day quick launch button.

there is a MSN button shortcut for the 3.0 v4.3 MSN version, regarding the audio shortcut, no one has hacked that part of the unit yet so i cannot help you out with that,

If so' I'll just change the Tahoma font to DS-digi but I'll probably have to play with the size because I have found that the digital needs more adjustment than the Tahoma. i.e; from 260 to lets say, 280 or so.

I just restored the OEM files like before the IDT 4.3 mod and I have voice again.

IDT do you have an idea why this is? I followed the instructions exactly as you say to. I hope you can help me. I cant stand the OEM look and feel of this unit anymore thanks to your skills

No go on that. By clicking the next turn arrow in the upper left corner once a route is planned you should get a spoken voice instruction correct? Im still not able to do this. It seems like there is no responce to clicking the arrow.

I also tryed removing everything in the SAVE folder then restarting.

check your original sys.txt and that should work

Tried that but everytime i try to set the bluetooth connection to on i get an application error and the unit restarts.When i change the device type in sys.txt back to 746uc the blutooth is fine but the tmc doesn't look for tmc channels.Any more thoughts?

is anyone having ipod start up times around a minute? with the msn 4.3 it has been waiting for the whole unit to load before its plays the ipod. when i leave it on cd mode the music takes like 15 -20 seconds.

vr catalog is off. i drive quite frequently and i believe only once in the last couple days has the ipod played after 20 seconds. I drive about 1/2 before the ipod turns on and then another half before the phone connects. total startup is like 1:15 but i got 50 something when i timed the ipod last
