FYI, I am getting re-boots when I try to even change screens (3D, 2D or north up) when navigating and also when trying the multiroute (as stated before) but NOT when I have the screen color set to the default Pioneer colors. I was playing around with a coupla DpDurst schemes (after I changed all of the "ui_igo8" headings in the color.ini files to "$skin$") and it worked for a few of those. But I normally run Monopoly night and Realview V6 Sunny schemes and it will re-boot on those now.

what other mods have you added? i checked the multi route and the view changing (2D, 3D etc) and not having the problems your stating

vr catalog is off. i drive quite frequently and i believe only once in the last couple days has the ipod played after 20 seconds. I drive about 1/2 before the ipod turns on and then another half before the phone connects. total startup is like 1:15 but i got 50 something when i timed the ipod last

1:15 is a decent time for it to start (i know it's slow but when i was doing time checks it's pretty much on the same time frame), i don't have an ipod handy with me to fully time it but when i checked it saturday it was around that, 20sec the music will play from the ipod, 50sec for it to fully booth and around 1:13sec the phone connects

Also do you know if there is a way to turn off parkways? I did not see this option.

I went back to the original version BEFORE I modded somw things and it is MY version.

have you changed the device type on the sys.txt to reflect the device type of F500?

thanks bro. I just needed to change the SYS.txt from PIONEER746UC to PIONEER749UC. This is awsome! thanks man. I guess the correct type for the F500Bt is the PIONEER749UC

thanks in advance, next update i'll have some text color settings, speedcam bugs are fixed, simple version of speedcam warning box, option to turn on/off the fading of the buttons and also a setting on how much you want it to fade and a couple more,

i'm currently working on navigation text color settings and i would like to know what colors you guys want to be included?

Change that stupid next turn arrow color in the Monopoly Night to something more eye-appealing than that drab charcoal gray

...also, in my mod I have changed the Recalc animation from the blue bar to the rotating green circular arrows kinda like the ones that resemble the "recycling" logo. You have probably seen this in another mod, yes?

before the end of this week, i'm trying to put as much and test it as much that's why it's kinda taking a bit longer, i ussually have an update weekly but with the audit of our company last week i kinda didn't have the time

Germany (Europe) / old guy --> own AVIS-F900BT bought in June 2009 / SW-Version 3.0201 (regular update) / Mods: IDT 3.0 v4.3, different image.res, speedcams, av.exe and common.lib from IDT's site (doesn't do anything ...) --> transferring data from a Mac (version 10.5.8 )

I really appreciate your work IDT! Since I drive some 60.000 Km per year, it did not take long to figure out, that the unit is crap. Update by update no decent improvements, so I ended up trying mods. Your Mod is by far the greatest. The EU-Version is perfect, no problems so far (ca. 5.000 Km). Everything works: TMC, Bluetooth, Speedcams, Heaven...

By the way, the reboots some experience might be the result of conflicts between the image.res and the data.zip! The only link between the IGo and the core pioneer app, is the image.res - I suppose.

Nevertheless, as soon as I got a paypal account I will send you money. Thanks again.

Hi IDT: i'm not sure if this is part of your mod, or just part of the new navi software because i installed your mod right after my update was done, but what are the round green balls that appear on the map ?

sometimes when there is traffic and the road turns yellow the balls will be yellow with what appears to be a speed # in it.(i.e.40).

i think it's either TMC or MSN Traffic

@Frank Yes, that's the speed of the congestion. It comes from TMC in some european countries.

..and here in the States too. We call it MSN traffic flow but I just uncommented the TMC references and it works just fine. I took out the blank screen button and replaced it with the "TMC" button for a one-click to the traffic. Works good!
