I don't think so. What do they look or sound like?
I am not sure. I am in the US and we don't have TMC. Sit tight for my next release and see if they start working.

I have change two pictures in the Data.zip (from red to green) and use my own Image.Res
No other change.

Ah. That's why. Would the two red images be the speedo backgrounds?
Yes thats the speedo background ![]()
I will copy your Data.zip back. But what can I do? The red doesn`t fit to all the green light in the car.

The speedo background is made up of two images now. If you have Photoshop or another photo editing program just turn those images green. Either that or you are going to have to make your images the exact same size as those two.
I think the reason you are showing white is because the top/bottom image is transparent in the center. You need to make sure yours is too. Make sure you keep the alpha layer in the center.
Use 7zip to create image.7z then rename it to image.res.
maybe you can't run larger image.res files because you're still on firmware 2.x?
THX again, that fixed my first problem!!!
Anyone in germany or with TMC who can confirm, that road numbers are not shown on TMC events as I wrote in post #373???
Ok Thats the reason, I filled it up green. Now I turn back to your red one, and it works.
Now I have holiday for a few days, after that I try it again.
Alex, do you know, how to create transparent icons??
I want icon 746_32K_OM-504_24b.bmp to be transparent, but I can't handle it!?
Good evening, here is the translucent image

That was quick - thank you!!
I'll try if it works!!
That is odd. So I notice the signs are set large. When they are normal and they turn green do they get large or stay small?
nope, they just turn green.
I don't know whether you noticed, but it is not the _current_ sign that changes color but the _next_ sign: the sign that is displayed while on the intersection

Man that is weird. We dont have anything like that for US based maps. Makes me wonder of there is a sys.txt setting for that we don't know about. For example, there is a setting for regular signposts where you can lock the color to the system default.
signpost_coloring=1
I wonder if there is a setting for this _NEXT_SIGN and not the current one. Let me look to see if there is anything in there.
Have you seen this work correctly on other mods? The other thing I might be able to do is replace the default signpost ini file with the blue one since this seems to be the case where its used. I wonder if its pulling that from the ezrider. Obviously the setting above makes it so that ezrider can have an effect over the signpost colors.

I'm sorry, but it doesn't work!!
I tried to make the icon, which is shown if in iPod-mode there is no cover, invisible, but your image is shown as a pink square! ![]()
Any other ideas, how to get this icon invisibile if there is no cover?

For me TMC works fine, only thing I'm missing is a possibility to just show traffic events on the current route in case somebody knows some code to implement that.

Sorry, I know we had that before:
As far as trip computer is concerned I understand, that the mod delays loading of the TC until the System is fully booted and has a sattelite fix. This is simply done by setting a time delay after that it loads TC.
So 1 Question: How can I extend this delay?
And one observation which may help the coders amongst us to find the bug which prevents TC from working: When I install a new mod and clear the save files TC ALWAYS works on the first bootup. Maybe there is one file amongst trhe save files which effects TC.
Jörg
Hey Diaftia! Thanks for this awesome update. After using your older mod for a long time I started looking for new ones, and even did a little modding myself. I must agree with you on one point... The ONLY reason I couldn't use ABBs mod is because of the font he uses. Not to my liking at all. I agree it's too scripty for a navigation interface. But to each their own!
Anyway, the new mod is AWESOME. Thanks! You've done a great job, and I love that the end user can actually change things to their liking and do a little customization. Great work!

Its in the tripcomputer.ui file. At the bottom there are 60's that mean wait 60 seconds. Increase those. I actually have another idea which I am going to try someday. Just need time. :-/

3.4 Changes on 1/25/11
version 3,4 working fine!
TMC is working in belgium, thanks!
one more question, i restored my user settings, but now i cannot switch off the hardware button sounds. Also when pushing the screen there is this annoying 'beep'
Do i have to change something to get this fixed?
thanks
Great update, and yes I am enjoying the hybrid mods
One issue I am having is dynamic volume will not work. When I set it to "On" as soon as I leave the Volume Setting screen it reverts back to off. Also, how does Autokarta work? There are options for both "Call from Cockpit" and "Call from browser map" that allow "off", "Route Map" and "Pad". I cannot figure out what these do can you please explain? Thanks again for a great mod.
Well the BIG question is going to be:
is it possible to decrease the navigation prompts in the other TTS voices? If so, how or what has to be done?

Great! Had to do some blind faith to get that code working. ![]()
Go into the volume settings and in there is a on/off toggle for key beeps.

I will take a look at the dynamic volume. I used to use that feature but forget to turn it on. I will check to see what is making it turn off. FYI it might be working so toggle it but do not go back into the screen (going back could be turning it off).
AutoKarta shows you what the difference is between your original route and your new route if the route was recalculated based on taking a different turn. It will tell you longer/shorter/faster/etc/. You start it by enabling the option in settings. That makes sure its tracking the routes. Then to get to it load it from the quick menu. I think right now its under user menu 3. The settings I am not even sure what they all do. I want to go through that whole thing to make it more user friendly. I need to trace all those options to see what they actually do because they are not clear. They are not even skinned right. Its on my list. ![]()
