It isn't.... I ssh'ed it over and it shows up in Cydia........that's how I check what version I had!!!

Mike with the pending 5.1.1 Jailbreak due shortly is this compatible with that firmware ?

Not sure. I'm only on 5.0.1 but I dont see any reason why it wouldn't work. I won't be able to test it until they release the jailbreak.

I currently have problems when using an GPS application like TomTom or Navigon, that my iPhone overheats.

The iPhone even shuts down wit a warning for overheating.

 

I don't know if it is a problem with the Appradio Extensions or with the Pioneer unit itself, but i'd like to mention the issue.

This isn't caused by the Extensions. Just bad design by Pioneer/Apple when handling external displays.

1.9.9-1 is the latest beta. I do this so when I release 2.0 on Cydia, it will automatically update.

Still working on the second beta. I tried to get it finished before I left for vacation but I didn't have enough time. Stay tuned.

Mike........Have you updated to the new 1.7??? I haven't because I want to make sure that it doesn't affect AppEx????

There is a way to downgrade to 1.5 in case AppEx doesn't work. Download crackulous, crack your 1.5 version and store it in installous, then if you need to you can revert.

I have very strange difficulties with my iPhone 4… If I try to open up a app from the AppRadio App, nothing happens, just blackscreen. Just updated my AppRadio to Version 2.5… DisplayOut works great, but TVOut from AppRadio Extensions seems to fail… And even the "CarMediaPlayer" does not start… Just blackscreen again... iOS 5.0.1!

look in network services if app are enabled ... maybe here

Make sure you uninstall Backgrounder before installing this version. They are not compatible with each other.

so...I'm running stock firmware and the new 1.7.1 update....and these seem to be the problems that I am having

I can open (a regular) app from the radio and TOUCH IS WORKING!!!! but I can't go from the app back to the list of apps on the radio, I have to press the iPhone button and all I see is the pioneer app in TVOut and it locks up and I have to force close the pioneer app.....should I be on 2.5 FW?? would that help???

App switching doesn't work correctly yet. When the AppRadio app gets backgrounded, it can get stuck on the springboard. Try pressing on the black bars to the left or right of the mirrored screen. It should kick you back to the AppRadio app.

Any app that contains support for external displays but is not approved by Pioneer will not work properly. I have to manually add them to a whitelist. If you post the bundle identifier for the app, I can add it.

Can you add these applications?
