Hi Guys,
I've posted earlier in this thread about problems during the update.
It's certain its not the update that crashed my system.
I've brought my system to a repair center and there they've installed a new print in it.
it was fried!
Now with the new print everyrhing went smooth.
So, now i can say, thanx for the update, you can use it savely.
Greetz,
Driverke

nope, 4GB is perfect...
Hello,
I did the update on my F920BT and encounter the following Problem:
The update worked as described, but, after that the settings menue only shows two active (highlighted) items: AV-settings and AV-sound. All other settings are dark and cannot be selected.
So I cannot do the Bluetooth update not to mention any other settings. Even the delete function of my stored navi destinations does not run.
But, I can hear music from all sources and I can navigate.
If there are no other good advices from somebody I'm afraid I have to follow diverke's way and look for a service center to reset the unit to some defined state.
Best wishes for the upcoming Holidays.
nope, 4GB is perfect...
thank you
@radeonorama
@pionara

Problem solved!
I forgot to put the light green wire to ground to simulate the parking brake beeing set.
Thanks!
Hello
I apologize in advance for any mistakes, but in English I'm weak and I'm using "Google Translate".
I installed everything according to the instructions in the first post
I have a F930BT. Everything works OK. Software version 4.0.
My question is whether the Update also installs the latest maps available for Pioneer? I thought that too, so be it, but the A1 motorway in Poland is not on the map, and was opened in 2012.
Was this instrkcja only software changes on the F940BT F930BT? What are the changes in the system?
And is it possible to provide information on speed cameras on the road?
Regards. Martin from Poland
Hello.
I have a Pioneer f920bt I installed everything according to the instructions in the first post and update and update end of sucess(?) in system information i have version 4.0 but when i turn radio in startup window is written the maps are from the year 2011 and in this model Pioneer so it should be ?
I'm sorry for the mistakes ![]()
I have just realized one changing on the updated map. There are some oneway roads one my home which were shown as oneway on the 2010 and 2011 versions. After updating now they are not seen as oneways. And the my 9210 tells me to use these roads on the way back to home. So I wonder two things.
1- Has anybody have the similar problem?
2- Do any of you think it is a problem with my unit or the updated map (I think it is Navteq)?
Hi all
Does anyone know this update file include Turkish map ?

Just a question, this update includes the new features such as Advanced App Mod?
Reply to me, the Advance App Mode works!
So, these 2 "problems" are solved. The 6 TTS voices installed with the update (CZC, FIF, GRG, HUH, PLP, TRT) can't be modified but at least, I can install one (and only one) optional TTS voice (I have DAD, DUB, ENG, FRF, NON, PTP, SPE and SWS : if you need one, just ask
) with an SD card following the official way : my french TTS voice "Virginie" is back... And for the QWERTY keyboard, there is an option to modifiy it to AZERTY but it's only visible when we enter an address!
Hi Frisk,
Am I correct that the Dutch voice is not included in this update? Can you please share the dutch TTS voice? And how can I install this using the official way?
Thanks in advance ![]()
Edit: Or can I backup the current Dutch TTS files, run the upgrade and restore them after the update is complete (By using Testmode)?
Greetings,
Just came from the car, updated My F920BT (version 3.01), everything took about 30min. 100% Works fine. Thanks guys.
But I Just don't get one thing. I updated the BT firmaware to 3.24, I paired my iPhone 4 with the device, I played the music via BT - everything works jus great, but I don't get it, how to run the AHA app via BT, I've installed this app from iTunes, then I choose app connect: bluetooth (on the device), the app radio logo appears in the source meniu, but I can't connect it, everytime it says "Bluetooth disconected, press Connect". Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Sorry for my bad english.
worked like a charm on a F9210BT.
Thanks a lot!

Advance App Mode for iPhone only works with cable.
The CD-IU201S is required for AppRadio Mode functionality and also enables audio and video playback from your iPhone® 4S or iPhone® 4

@Radeonorama & Pionara
Thank you guys, just updated my F920BT.
Greetings from Austria
Witch maps are included in the update from post #1. Is this the equivalent of one of the 3 DVD's (east, west, central) or a combined update?

Hi,
of course you can backup your current TTS voice with testmode before updating : you just have to copy the wanted folder found in the TTSDATA directory on your SD card.
to install it back, after the update, you must creat a "VOICE" directory on your SD card and copy your TTS voice folder in it.
put your SD in your AVIC, start it and go to the voice selection menu : you should see something like "voices on SD" and you'll be able to choose your dutch TTS voice.
I got a backup of the DUB (dutch for belgium) TTS voice. if you need it, just send me a PM...
Hi,
i updated succesfully my AvicF20 already updated with 2011 maps (CNSD-210FM), it only took 30 mins.
I'm only disappointed in this update, 2012 maps don't show some new important road changes which we're already present at the 2011 versions
so upgrade is sometime downgrade...
Advanced app mode is activated now, but doesn't work properly. Only once I succeeded to see google maps, now screens stays black. AHA radio works great
