I have a 2007 Ford Escape and I am trying to locate the VSS. It has the Audiophile 6-disk changer with speed sensor. Is there any chance the VSS is in the OEM radio harness? Maybe CAN BUS? If not what is the easiest location of the VSS?

I've asked this question in Club Titan and Titan Talk and no one can give me a solid place to tap into the VSS. I will not tap into the wire at the ECM in the engine compartment, it has to be in the cab. All of the white/red wires I tested did not show a voltage spike while moving. Unless I tested them wrong. And that link at the beginning of this forum turned up with nothing for my truck. Can somebody please help :?:

I have been looking EVERYWHERE. Anyone know where the VSS (and ILLUM) is on a 2007 Audi A3 (bose, non-nav).

Thanks in advance!

Anyone? :(

i'm been looking too, but for a 2006 audi a3. no luck. i read somewhere that they don't have a vss wire any more on the 07. not 100% sure about that tho.

I'm 99% sure they have one. Installed the D3 this last weekend, but didn't connect the illum or VSS :(

I hope someone can find it, as the GPS seems a little jumpy w/o it.

Anyone know the VSS location on a 2004 Nissan Maxima without Bose? I looked around here, on the website listing in the OP, and on Maxima.org, but couldn't come up with any clear answer.

Posted Feb 11, 2009 · 11:03 UTC#297
Hi all!
I'm a new member as of today. Currently i'm doing an install of a F900BT into my 1995 JDM 300zx.
Can anyone tell me where to pick up the vss wire? My info so far is that it should be a yellow/green wire at the ECM but i've also been told that I should pick it up at the rear of the instrument cluster, very confusing, can anyone enlighten me?
Many thanks in advance,
Ade.

Hello,

I am looking for an Adapter for my AVIC F-700BT to connect it with my Renault Megane (ISO). I found some on German Ebay, they all fit in ISO (in my Megane as well) but I dont know which one of them fits in AVIC F700BT??? There are 18 types: with different pol/pins, white, black!!!

Can somebody help me finding the right one?

Here is the link for Ebay Adapters.

Thanks.
