I'm new out here.

Would you please explain me how to install new maps on f840bt?

I'm not sure how to get it started. I have no clue how to run supertestmode from a freshly formatted SD...

Do l need some files on it or what?

And haw should I edit RenewallFlib.dll from USER\PRG0\APL and USER\PRG1\APL?

Working on F930bt

Confirmed working on f940bt.

edit two files RPG0 and RPG1 and make the adjustments as below

1. Run 'supertestmode' from a freshly formatted (FAT32) SD card.

2. Copy RenewallFlib.dll from USER\PRG0\APL and USER\PRG1\APL to SD root.
3. Remove SD card from AVIC and edit RenewallFlib.dll from USER\PRG0\APL and USER\PRG1\APL as per monsterF9's guidance on a PC.
4. Insert SD card with edited RenewallFlib.dll from USER\PRG0\APL and USER\PRG1\APL back into AVIC.
5. Delete RenewallFLib.dll from USER\PRG0\APL and USER\PRG1\APL on AVIC.
6. Paste edited RenewallFlib.dll from SD card into USER\PRG0\APL and USER\PRG1\APL.
7. Remove SD card format it and copy Update, FIRMWARE and CARDINFO.cif onto it.
8. Insert SD card into AVIC and turn on ignition. Follow onscree instructions where you'll be prompted to enter a password. Enter PASSWORDPASSWORD
9. Sit back and wait for 25 minutes whilst the unit updates.

I needed to edit RenewallFlib.dll from USER\PRG1\APL.

Anyone else had the paused music problem I mentioned before ?

No problems encountered whatsoever, the unit resumes music played from USB without problems after starting the car.

Hmm might be a setting in the iPod I have I'll have a look later

If I understand correctly, with this hex edit you can remove the warning (drive safely etc.) screen after starting the car?

Confirmed update on F940BT. Didn't affect the existing TTS on device (Romanian in my case).

(Issue?) Cannot switch to night scheme from short menu or settings. Only Day or Automatic options.

Anyone can explain this to me?

hello all, I updated my f940bt somehow with the 2013 files. Now I want to do the same with the 2015, but I am completely lost. I do have a the password for the (Flomsen)zip file , but that already seems to give some errors. It does unpack something though.

But then I go to the instructions.. And I see testmode. No clue how to run that. Can someone give a more extensive manual how to do this? Also the files that need to be changed; iuf these are suppose to be in the zipfile, its not there.

Anyone can explain this to me?

So I have to unzip supertestmode on SD, plug it in to the avic and start up.

sd card in de Radio update within 25 min. after that everything work perfect.
