I succesfully updated my F9310BT today in version 6.0.

Excepting the maps, nothing else seems to have been changed since version 5.0.

I also had succes updating my F9220BT

But i have to use the cardinfo file on post #317​

There should be changes of the maps otherwise it would be a very expensive update but maybe nothing in your surroundings

Is this cardinfo file also needed for F920BT? Or can I just update using the files in the opening post?

Yes. You need that specifc cardinfo for your model, otherwise the unit wont detect the update.

Update worked fine on F920BT with special cardinfo from 5,0 to 6,0 with 2015 maps.

The only minor problem I have since 5.0: Display calibration does not work.

I can can touch all the little crosses but, at the end I cannot finish the procedure.

I updated my F930BT to the 2015 maps, BT was already 3.32 and everything works just fine. Just downloaded the files from the topic start en put it on a SD and is asked me to begin update.

Only thing i don`t understand the voice files how can i install these or did the update take the voices automatically? (I did put them on the SD before install)

Just installed on an F920BT.. Update went perfectly. Bluetooth didn't need an update. Map version now 6.0. Thanks Flomsen, Pionara, Monsterf9 and Sjarrel!

Put voice folder in root on sd card.

Go into costumize settings - region settings - voice language - setup voice - change voice language.

Select desired language.

It works like a charme on a 9220.. Thanks guys

Precisely Sjarrel, this is what I wanted to say, we agree. The map has changed (still happy) but not the rest (menu, software, feature of the unit ...).

I succesfully updated my F930BT today from 5.0 to version 6.0. Apparently not known differences in the maps from 2013 version...

Has anyone noticed any difference ?

One question though. It says that after upgrading you have to reinstall your language so i burned the voices folder on to a CD(RW) it said that it was an invalid CD.

The Dutch voice seemed to be working anyway so I haven't tried anything further. But should I reinstall the TTL and if so Which folder should i burn to the CD?

I search the modded (?) cardinfo for the 2015 map update for the f930BT model. Any clue where I can find it?

I can confirm this works on the F930BT.

 

As per above, the process I followed was:

 

1. Run 'supertestmode' from a freshly formatted (FAT32) SD card.

2. Copy RenewallFlib.dll from USER\PRG0\APL to SD root.

3. Remove SD card from AVIC and edit RenewallFlib.dll as per monsterF9's guidance on a PC.

4. Insert SD card with edited RenewallFlib.dll back into AVIC.

5. Delete RenewallFLib.dll from USER\PRG0\APL on AVIC.

6. Paste edited RenewallFlib.dll from SD card into USER\PRG0\APL.

7. Remove SD card format it and copy Update, FIRMWARE and (modded) CARDINFO.cif onto it.

8. Insert SD card into AVIC and turn on ignition. Follow onscree instructions where you'll be prompted to enter a password. Enter PASSWORDPASSWORD

9. Sit back and wait for 25 minutes whilst the unit updates.

 

If anyone needs a hand with this, please ping me. I'm by no means an expert but after some reading, understand what's needed and how to achieve it.

I have also a F930BT but I get confused by instruction step no. 7: "modded cardinfo.cif" - is the cardinfo in zip file from Flomsen working for the 930BT or do I need another one and if - where do I get it from?

For the f930bt is very simpel. Download the 2015 map from flomsen put the the maps firmware map update and cardinfo on the root from the sd card

You only need another cardinfo when you have a pioneer system older then the f30bt/f930bt system
