  1. $190 for a AVIC Z-2 install on a 2003 G-35??? And you question whether or not you should go back to the installer and have him correct the installation. Of course you should! You were charged for a proper installation you didn't get it. If they are doing the install for that amount it should be correct and complete. IF you paid $500 for the install you would go back why do you have to question it on a $190 install. Usually people get what they pay for but if you get charged for something you should get all of what you were charged for and that includes a proper installation. Cannon
  2. Why are you remounting the amp "after" you went to the installer??? A well thought out system is installed before setting it up. Planning ahead saves time money and rework...... just my .o2 worth for future reference. Now how does that bad boy sound??? Cannonball

    amp question

Tweety the JL 500/5 is a great amp and will perform well in the Porsche. It wont draw too much current from the 911 charging system either. Wire it just like they say RCA's front to front rear to rear and sub to sub you will retain all fade and balance functions. I have a JL 500/5 in my 1996 Porsche 993 twin turbo and made some custom stealthy fuberglass pods to fit behind the factory speaker grills once the Nokia speaker crap was removed. I was able to get a set of the JL VR-653 3 way components in the doors replaced the rears with some 2 ways and installed some 8W-3's in the back foo
