  1. No I did not, but I did not think it was required (then again I really haven't read the book either). That would sound extreme old if I had to do that, especially considering I did not have to do that with the z2 ipod adapter. Hmmm, something sounds strange. Hope it isn't flat out broke, I think I threw everything away...... (stupid)
  2. So check this out. I installed my Z110BT and all of the functions are working correctly. UP to today, I have only plugged in the usb to play music, not the IPOD. I tried my dad's 60 IPOD classic and the interfaced changed over from usb to IPOD. Everything seems to be working, but I get no sound. Thinking it could be some setting with the IPOD or something, I tried it with my IPHONE 3g and received the same results. All other sound inputs work just fine, FM/AM/XM,USB,CD, but it does not seem to work correctly with the IPOD(s). I have the correct cable, came right from the company.
  3. G35 owners, does anyone know if the pre wire for g35 will plug up into GEX-920XM? This will save me so much work if its the case..My dash is a pain to be guessing...
  4. I have that on my screen as well, problem is, its no where near an A. Park. Never was................its just a random icon on my map.

    Colors

    Wonder why they went with blue luminate buttons instead of the standard amber...They should have at least given us the opportunity to change the colors of the buttons. If it weren't for that, my G35 6mt install would look stock! Just a thought. How many people have blue button consoles?
  6. VA user, so far so good. Granted, it has been cool, very cool since the DAY the update was released, but I would get either a lock up or music skipping 95 percent of the time. Now it plays like day one. So far so good, glad I didn't have to rip it out the dash and send it to pioneer (guess I would have done the bypass if I had to go through all that trouble). Don't know how many G35 users are on the forum, but when our unit is installed it looks stock..But getting that joker out is a pain in the azz. Good fix for now pioneer........................
  7. Its been working fine for me since the update. No hot days since then but no skipping either. Usually I woule either get one of the two, and probably one day out the week the system would work like it suppose to (well on start up that is). I'm happy so far, do not understand it but happy.

  10. so what is the chance that we get new hard drives and a software patch when this is all said and done? Because I agree, I think heat hammering down on the drive will eventually make the HDD damaged. Can't believe how many people this is affecting. My dad and uncle have the same unit, both were brought after mines, they haven't had a problem yet. But it took a few months before mine even came to light (when my dad had my car mind you, lol).   11. Lets say what your saying is true! How do I get my hands on it? Do I call or do they send out an email of some sort. I've seen post on this board were people are receiving updates and fixes and nothing has come by my email or on there site. So will I have to call and ask for it? Hell, I'm hoping your right............its a good unit outside of this f-up..
  12. First, Can't believe one user would say that it’s "an heat" issue and be fine with it. Call me picky, but I was not one of those guys who wanted the bypass, did not care if we ever got personally. I felt this way because that's not what the unit offered initially when we purchased it. I can live with that, I can not however live with the fact that I can only use my unit on certain days and as I go on less and less....I wrote pioneer and they told me that I had to send the unit in as well. If they are going to replace with the same issue unit, I will only have another issue come next sum
  13. I received my unti back in april and about two months ago it started to skip and freeze the screen on start up. I got my online and got it professionally installed. No biggie as I was sick so I did not install it myself, but I would hate to send this thing back only for them to replace it and have the same problems. How do we officially complian and demand a fix. I'm worried we are going to get screwed in the long run and we some how need to get a collective complaint going...
