I went into my Itunes on the computer. It is easier to do if you click -show browser- Look for all of the artist names that begin with the letter A- multi select them-right click on them-get info-click the info tab-under the genre box type in the letter A-then click ok. Repeat this for all of the letters of the alphabet-use the # sign for artist that begin with numbers. The only labels under the genre setting now will be A-Z-#. You will not see rock,country,R & B etc any more. After you are done syncing you can view them on the pioneer unit under the genre tab from the screen. Now

I took someones advice from the forum here and changed the genre to a single letter-a-z-#, I then went into itunes and renamed the genre to the artist name (just a single letter). Now if I want to search, I select the artist-album-song. Its a little bit to set up but it does work great. Mark T Chicago

Sorry if this isa silly question, When I am listening to XM Radio I see a message pop up on the screen telling me: Channel XXX is playing Umbrella by Rhianna.. Do you want to change the channel? Did I do a setting wrong or is this just some type of marketing tool XM is doing. This is the only song I see it pop up on.. Thanks in Advance Mark T Chicago

Anyone know if the direct connect (walkie talkie) feature works with the bluetooth adaptor? I am thinking of adding one to my D3. I knoiw the phone part would work. I use a lot of direct connect. I had a Garmin Nuvi 660 before this unit and I would have to disable the bluetooth every time I wanted to walkie talkie someone. Thanks in Advance Mark T

I just had the D-3 installed in a 2008 Saturn Outlook. Unit is working great except for a few small minor fine tunings. The clicker on the turnsignals is muted and the seatbelt chime is on full volume. The installer said he will take care of both items. Only problem now is my gps is showing New York City for some reason instead of my local area, unit worked fine a few hours ago! Mark T Chcago
