to cover the gap around the dash kit and the radio, you can make a trim piece or goto best buy and see if you can get a trim piece from one of their scosche 06+ honda civic dash kits. It fits perfectly.

Thats correct... The iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPod Classic will not work for video on any pioneer unit. Like Newbie said, it has some kind of chip inside of them that only allows video to be played through apple made products. But all should allow music to come through.

if you guys havent already found your answers, the new ipod touch, and the new ipod classics have video out like the old ipods did however apple disabled video out control unless you have it connected to an apple manufactured product. I know a guy that works for apple and he said he is pretty sure they will not unlock this feature. So in order for this to work you have to go to apple and purchase the audio/video out cables for the new classic or touch and connect them to your audio/video input cables on your d3. It will not work through the ipod control on the d3 anymore though. So... Good

OK... Sorry for the false alarm. But the one task I gave my brother of moving the mute wire ended up being the culprit. He didnt have the pin ALL the way in the hole. Anyway, all is well! And Bypassed! Thanks guys!

I work for a pioneer dealer, and got one shipped directly to me from Pioneer. I think it may just be the newest units coming out are having this problem, I have read through some posts and it sounds like im not the only one having this problem. Believe me I installed one last week into an FJ Cruiser and the bypass worked fine.

True, they should have known that you would need another key for the remote start. I guess that is only if they decided to look at your key before the installation. They may have figured a 95 accord wouldnt have a coded key... But where I work a basic remote start/keyless entry with installation is $379.99, and we charge $160 to install the navigation unit, plus parts. Your post is kind of confusing but it sounds as if you got a good deal.

I think they have done something to prevent the bypass now, or at least made it a little harder to bypass. I know all of my connections are correct. I have done the bypass many times, working for a car electronics company, yet I just recieved my own brand new 07 unit and it is not bypassing. It works fine until I start driving. When the unit senses im driving it says the parking brake is improperly connected and grey's out the address search feature, and video.
