  1. Have you tried the search function on this forum. There was lots of talk about it. Who is your carrier? MOTOROLA RAZR's-(verizon) ONE ENTRY AT A TIME. You must be on the screen with the phonebook download is. Once you disconnect, don't touch the screen but go to your phone and bring up one entry. Once on your chosen name, push the view button and scroll down until it says: "Share phonebook entry". Select and hit bluetooth. An "object exchange" screen appears with Pioneer BTB or "look for devices". Since my phone has already been established, I chose Pioneer BTB and it downloaded nu
  2. Straight off pioneer site. Guess that answers the update firmware question.
  3. I have a D3 and a Boyo camera. Now that the weather has gotten cold (in the 30's at times), the camera doesn't come on upon shifting into R after first starting the car for the day. Once it warms up in the car, then it works when shifting to R. The camera does work when I go to menu and rearview. Only does this when it is cold.
  4. I agree, but if people aren't seeing/reading the other 100 plus post on transferring contacts, what makes you think they will read the sticky?
  5. After you press the phone book transfer and it disconnects, then go to your phone and go to your contacts. Press options and look for send name card (or something like that) and chose it and then choose bluetooth. You might have the device showing or nothing and it gives option to add device. Follow prompts to pair it up. Then go back to contacts and follow as I mentioned about the send name card. Mark the ones you want to send, press done, and it should start sending them. This assuming that your phone is registered with the D3.
  6. On the D3, in the menu for the Tel, press phone book transfer, it will take you to the Tel page and show not connected. Now on your phone go to contacts and options, select "send name card". Might show your Pioneer device or if not, do the add new device. Follow the prompts to pair. Go back to contacts and options, send name card. Mark the ones you want to send and press done, follow the prompts. You may be able to do all contacts at once or may have to do one at a time.
  7. Yeah, but you didn't do the bypass correctly. You need to recheck the steps of the bypass. Did you move the mute pin up a notch and make sure it is set snug? Then ground mute and ebrake wire to a good ground.
  8. Does the video work if you go over 10 mph? That msg you are getting is indictive to having it grounded wrong. But, since you use a switch. If you leave the switch on before startup, do you get those msg's?
  9. 1. Hooking up the VSS wire has no bearing on the bypass. Properly hooked up will not interfer. 2. You will get a better calibration with the VSS hooked up. Post your year model and make and the people that know, will be able to tell you where the VSS should be hooked up.
  10. it took longer to think of this, type up the thread and post it then it would to just do the bypass.
  11. You can call Sirius and tell them you sold the equipment. They will offer or you can ask to put your subscription on hold. When you get your new equip, you can transfer the subscription to the new unit.
  12. Sounds like you didn't bypass your flux capacitor properly.
  13. Yes, you do. Try driving without and watch what "doesn't" happen (no more video).
  14. The older vehicle models speedometer isn't certified calibrated per se, even a certified calibrated speedometer has a +/- error of 2. The new model vehicles are pretty close. Hence, if you get tagged for speeding by some over zealous ticket writer for going a couple over, you have a good argument to win in court.
