  1. I just threw this: http://kickass.to/pharrell-williams-g-i-r-l-2014-flac-se7en-t8955844.html album onto a 32GB USB drive and it worked flawlessly.
  2. Thanks... I'll have to check as I initially had installed the iDatalink Maestro RR and CH2 harness for my car but later found out it wouldn't work. ADS is supposedly working on a fix for me, so I ended up having a shop do it, I'll have to check over the weekend. I'd think it either work or wouldn't work at all.
  3. Sounds about right.... Your statement "You must disconnect USB 1 and 2 to be able to play Bluetooth music or pandora" is not correct. I have a 32GB USB drive dedicated with movies and some music and I can play bluetooth music fine via Pandora.
  4. As the title states, I'm looking to get a backup and front facing camera...any thoughts on good cameras to get? Anyone you know that sucks that I should stray away from?
  5. I'm not a fan of the App Radio either... I just leave it alone and stick to Bluetooth via Pandora and dropping Blu-ray rips on a USB drive.
  6. Same here as I am utilizing USB1. App Radio sucks in my opinion, I setup Aha for Facebook and it just reads the recent updates. I don't use Pandora via plugging my phone in because I have it set to bluetooth and it automatically plays when I enter the car. One thing I noticed is it will start playing a song via BT but my pandora app wont be opened. When I actually open pandora it will switch to what was last playing in pandora...weird. I just upgraded to a 64GB thumbdrive with about 30GB's worth of movies and music, and that's dedicated to USB1.
  7. Also since we are talking about the speed warning alerts. Is there a setting to tailor the unit to match your actual speed. Mine always shows me at 3-4mph over my actual speed. It's quite annoying.
  8. I'd treat it like an iPhone and get pictures that are of the native resolution. This would also be a good place to link some cool photos.
  9. About the same...no more than 3-5 seconds.
  10. I know you guys are aware of this but just in case someone who isn't sure where exactly it's at, they can follow this link below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJU7J0dZAdY Skip to 55 seconds into the video.
  11. AWESOME!!!! Thanks for posting!! Finally!!!
  12. I'm running a 32GB Kingston Patriot with no problems... Mostly .avi (xvid) and .mkv's.
  13. I'm running a Kingston Patriot 32GB that is full and as Drencye said...it plays fine. Mostly XVID(AVI) and MKV format on the drive.
  14. I have been in talk with ADS (They are a Canadian based company) engineer and after purchasing the iDatalink Maestro and CHR02 adapter specific to my car (2007 Dodge Charger R/T) the shop was not able to install. Ended up going with the standard PAC harness. They (ADS) are very quick to assist and while at the shop, they created 3 firmware updates on the fly to try and resolve my issue. But they were unable to resolve it. Here is a few excerpts... Will pass along your comments and contact you again when we have software for you to use. Regarding the radio, I am not sure what OBDC
  15. This actually does work for me. I had an issue where I had no audio and apparently the guys at the stereo shop disabled. They actually tried to upsell me the bypass for $50 stating they can include the hardware for the bypass. I said thanks but no thanks. This is for a 7000nex just in case someone tries to jump all over me for not stating my model even though my device is in my signature.
  16. So the bypass doesn't work for me...when playing a movie it will prompt anytime over 5mph saying it cant play while in motion. I had a shop do the install so not sure they grounded the parking brake line permanently.
  17. Love it!!! Looks great! So it's official the iDatalink Maestro RR and the CH2 doesn't work. It won't turn the amp on...went with the standard CHY4 etc and got everything working. They got the company engineers on the phone and they even created custom firmware to try and get it to work...no luck. ADS will work with the shop to try and get it to work with custom firmware.
  18. I did the bypass but get this ever time I start the car at random times. If I acknowledge it goes away but comes up next time I start the car.
  19. Scotty, It does come with the factory amp. I spoke with iDatalink tech support and they reported that the Maestro RR (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-lmaMyOXUg3c/p_794ADSMRR/iDatalink-Maestro-ADS-MRR-Factory-Integration-Adapter.html) and CH2 http://maestro.idatalink.com/accessories/category/product_id/260 is all I needed for the vehicle in terms of wires. My buddy has done 2 Dodge vehicles using the standard CHY4 and pac hardness for steering wheel controls but I wanted to get the latest and greatest but we weren't able to get it to work. I'm going to bite the bullet in the morning and take i
  20. Hey Scott, Thanks for your reply. The stereo is connected to the factory amp via the wire harness. So am I looking for additional wires outside the factory wiring harness that is coming from the amp? I'll look again, thanks.
  21. I have 2007 dodge charger with steering wheel controls (it has the factory amp) and connected everything as instructed. Unit powers up, steering wheel controls work but no audio. Got a friend involved who has done all my installs and changed around some wires that he said is the same setup as the way PAC harness is wired...still no audio. I'm using the iDatalink Maestro RR + CHR02 Chrysler specific harness.
