My fix was to go with a windows mobile based phone. First the HTC touch and now an HTC Mogul...the mogul is a great phone but still needs jetware to pair with the D3. Once you run Jetware it's all gravy! Even the ringers play thru. Best of luck to all Frank

Congrats on the fix... I like the fact that it works well with the stereo but I'm still looking to find the best keyboard to use on it. So far it's touch pal and SPB fullscreen. SPB has some great skinning software! If you find anything that works well let me know Frank

I have one...It works perfect with the D3... I just had to buy the Jetware app. It even plays the ringer thru the stereo speakers. The only thing missing is the prompts from the voice dial...but I don't use voice dial anyway. Good Luck! Frank

Looks like the Ford Sync guys are having luck but it seems to still not work with the Treo/D3 combo.. at least for me..your results may vary. BTW it took over 1/2 hour to do this update so plan ahead! Frank

Just wanted to let everyone know there's an update for the treo 755p and some are using it for the 700p...I am not running this phone right now but there might be some changes to the bluetooth in the update. If anyone tries it please post your results. From what I read the update might be worth it just for the speed improvements and the SMS changes Frank

Everything I can find says that the Treo supports this profile. However niether version of Treo (700p/755P)we own will work with it. Frank

I never did get mine to work...Had to file a paypal claim and send it back to the seller. When and if I get my money back I'll try again. Good luck guys Frank

I too have a addiction for fancy phones and the fact of the matter is palm sucks in regards to bluetooth. It's such a great phone that it seems nuts that it doesn't work as well or at all compared to the cheaper non-smart phones. I have been looking at the other sprint phones offered and they just don't make anything that I like as much. So until there is a solid fix I just won't have bluetooth in my car. What a waste! Frank

In my case I bought from an ebay seller and although the item is new I'm stuck with a paypal claim. Until that is cleared up and it's decided if I'm keeping it, I'm just reaching for straws. It seems like a software thing and with everyone able to roll back firmware I was just hoping for an easy fix. So hurry up paypal? I'm sick of looking at this paperweight. Frank

Same problem I'm having...still going after the seller to get a replacement. If that doesn't work I will have to send it in. I heard that by going into the service menu there were some options that may help but I can't seem to get the service menu to come up on mine. Someone hopefully has an idea for us.... Hell I'll pay for a fix... The damn thing is a paperweight right now. I hate paying pioneer 200 bucks for a repair when I used this damn thing for less than 12 minutes before this happened Frank

I have been trying this and never get a password screen. All button pushes seem to do nothing(using a CDR55 remote). I have a 800.00 paperweight right now due to appropriate disc error any help would be great!! Thanks Frank
