I recently got one of these and somehow water got inside and condensation is building up behind the lense...has anyone had any problems with these? The seller i got it from is offering an exchange, but i am just wondering.

i have bose in my '05 a4 and it wasn't an issue. the tech at best buy who installed it (for $100 or so) said that bose isn't really an issue.

samsung saga works well...can send phonebook at once too.

if nobody gets to it, i'll just write one up myself. im working on ordering the parts myself. just need some wiring specs.

Two questions... 1) Does anyone know of an IP Bus adapter coming out anytime soon for the Zune? 2) I read on here about hooking up the Zune via dock/wireless remote and having the information on the Zune screen show up on the Z, can we get an actual complete how-to with PN's (for dock/remote/cables, etc) and instructions on how to do it (wiring, ports, settings)? just put my drive in yesterday and can i say WOW? muuuch better than the z1 drive i had. fixed the bluetooth echo, upgraded maps etc. great drive! thanks!

mine is the illumination wire, IIRC all are.

Just wanted to post up, finally got around to adding the bluetooth module to my Z1... Picked up a refurbed unit off of ebay and it works great. The reception is fine from behind the dash, and echoes are minimal. Is there any way to customize the ringtones or change the mic volume w/o changing the speaker volume? I know on the factory nav for my car you could customize both of those via computer. thanks in advance

I have read some posts about how the Sirius Interface blows, but also some about how it is better than XM's. Which do you prefer and why? Can someone post up some pictures of the interfaces for comparison? I would like to see a thread finally tackle this issue. Thanks!

Does anyone have Sirius instead of XM? What are the controls/displays like for it? I am thinking of getting the cd-sb10 and the scvdoc1 so i can move the sirius tuner between my 2 vehicles. Any input is greatly appreciated!

I am looking to add the Boyo VTL400 to my d3 in my 07 Mazda CX-7, as well as get the Dim working (finally), and unlocking it so all of the features work while moving. My dilemma is that I don't know which wires are for which functions in the CX-7. Can anyone help me out with any of this? 1) Which wires do I need to run/locate/splice to install the dim feature? 2) What do I have to do to unlock the unit and remove the warning message when it is in video mode while driving? I know I need to run the cameras power to a +12v (the main power to the nav), the trigger to the reverse light

apparently the adapter for the a4 doesnt have an option for a dim wire. i have worked on other stereos but never the a4 and never an avic. i need to know what wires i need to splice and where to allow for the dim function and also to unlock nav features while moving. (if anyone is experienced and in the area i would be willing to pay for assistance) i also plan on upgrading to the z3 60gig drive. any help is much appreciated... one other thing i was wondering is in the z3 firmware, is there any way to change the button theme to something other than blue? its bad enough the actual butto

Hey guys, i just had my z1 put in my 2005 audi a4 and i have a few questions. 1) What is the correct ipod adapter for the z1? I looked at best buy but the one they had wasnt compatible, i guess i need the older model but i dont remember the model number. 2) What wire and where do i tap it to enable the night time screen setting? Hello all, i recently got interested in the z2, however i found that z1's are much cheaper to get. I know about updated bluetooth, voice recognition and a bigger HD, but is there anything that makes the Z2 better? Is there a way to upgrade the NAV software on the Z1 w/o having to download all of that stuff and hook it up to your home pc? I have seen on here many people have had issues with this process. I know a great deal about computer hardware, but nothing about this system. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
