  1. Might wanna update LG VX8600. All capabilities except voice dial works but can't hear voice dial prompts and phone book transfer one at a time. BT Audio untested.
  2. I am assuming your phone is registered with the BTB because it autoconnects. Without getting too detailed here.....It's supposed to do that. That's when you do your transfer. So give it another try, when it "disconnects" transfer contacts however the BB transfers.
  3. Kiss Ass. LOL. When he came up with that avatar it scared the hell out of me cause it looks just like my brother.
  4. A clown juggling. I love it. Now that I think about it I can see that. (now post only once dammit)
  5. Nor can you load somebody else's phone book to use with yours. In order to transfer contacts you need to register the phone with the BTB and the contacts are specific to that phone.
  6. I've always thought the icon was some sort of fountain and it is always within a park.

  8. For me what I don't understand is when a young couple, such as my neighbors, have their first child why one of the first things they do is buy a family van. Why?
  9. I hear ya. I like to think I am pretty savvy also and have experienced the same level of frustration. The manuals are terrible (screen shots in manual do match my D3 though). It has taken some time, some tweaking and some learning but I now love the D3. Especially compared to that clunky 6 CD changer that came with the truck. BUT don't get me started on the Navi!!! I don't even use it other than a sort of database for searching addresses and phone numbers. Other than that it pretty much stinks. And you are welcome. Glad I could help.
  10. Ok, here is something dumb. When you are at the register screen (when your phone is connected, of course lol) You need to press and hold the first (soft key) position until your phone name populates that position. Kind of like setting a radio station preset on most stereos. If you have done that please post back with a little more specifics. Also make sure that your phone permissions is set up to allow connection with the BTB. As far as arcuhtek's post above, please do follow his link and read on further. Good info but IMO a little misguided and it is simply because this whole blu
  11. Dude! I found your manual for a Motorola V325 online and it looks like you are lucky to even have BT! In fact I can't even find anything pertaining to BT in the manual. I hate to say it but that is one of the most basic phones I have seen. How old is it? I pretty much suggest a new phone. EDIT: I now found the manual for a Motorola V325I which is what you must have because the 325I does have BT whereas the V325 does not. The manual also notes that you DO NOT have OBJECT PUSH so you will not be able to move any contacts from your phone to the BTB. But I would like to touch upon
  12. The above statement makes me go hmmmm. 1. Are you turning the bluetooth (BT) of your phone off and on everytime you enter/exit the truck or is the phone doing that itself? ...Maybe it's me but I always have my BT on on the phone. It should be ON before you start your truck. 2. You also have to set your phone up so that when the BTB-200 tries to shake hands with your phone that your phone does not need to authorize. In your phone's BT menu highlight the Pioneer BT Unit2 and find something like INCOMING SECURITY and set that to ALWAYS CONNECT. Or something similar, I am not familia
  13. First off I would also like to welcome you to Seattle. Hope you like the weird ass weather we have. Isn't it funny though? I have a D3 with the BTB-200 and I can't complain at all. It is works flawlessly as far as call quality. I also have the iPod connection which I would prefer to be a little easier to use as far as searching but I am cool with leaving it on random play and just going with the flow. Or I use playlists for particular moods and random play those also. . BUT....if usable/accurate Navi is one of your criteria for purchasing a unit I would steer way the hell away from
  14. I'm confused. Did you switch topics on me here? Copying your navi DVD has nothing to do with backgrounds. The DVD itself has nothing to do with backgrounds. Since you have photoshop, go to this http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1809 and it should get you up an running.
  15. I have both a mac and a PC and I hate to say it but there is nothing that I know of on the Mac that is included with the OS that will do what you want it to do, I still have Tiger 10.4 BTW. Same with the PC, although I read somebody used Paint for a background. Optimally you would want Adobe Photoshop or something similar but those programs are complicated and expensive. I have Photoshop 7.0 on my PC and that is how I go about my backgrounds. I have seen alot of 350Z backgrounds already made. Look around and see if you like any of them. If not ask for one to be made. But if you
  16. Wish I coulda helped but I had mine installed. I hope you find that it actually works better than with that POS 6 CD changer. Definitely quicker on the volume. Just out of curiosity what did you go with for the face plate?
  17. Not knowing which LG you have but knowing LG's I suggest this: FIRST AND FOREMOST. Go to MENU --> SETTINGS AND TOOLS --> BLUETOOTH MENU. With "Add New Device" highlighted hit options button and choose SUPPORTED PROFILES. If you have OBJECT PUSH as a profile you should be able to transfer contacts. When you go to the phonebook transfer screen it is supposed to disconnect. It is at that point you are to do transfer from the PHONE TO THE BTB (just be clear here that the D3 is just the visual interface) and there is no START button as pg. 15 in the manual says there is.
  18. Sounds like an installation issue. Of which I am no help.
  19. I think I have heard of that working. But you have to make sure you are doing things correctly with any phone, particularly #1 below. I just went out to my truck and did a few transfers to refresh my memory. I have to do them one by one. 1. Is your phone registered with the BTB? ....It must be registered in order to transfer phonebook. 2. Are you trying to initiate a reconnect with "Pioneet BT Unit2" from your phone once your phone notifies you that it has disconnected? If so...Don't. Just mark a name card and send it. When you are in the phonebook transfer scree
  20. Yeah I know but I did not want to rip into my truck. I bought the D3X which has the BTB-200 bluetooth module with iPod connector for $999, I also had them throw in the steering wheel controller. It all totaled around $1400 with install and tax. I went to the Lynnwood Car Toys. The first unit was a POS and I eventually had them replace it at no cost. It was a huge pain. Just be aware if you are buying this unit for GPS, it pretty much sucks.
  21. I would like to know also because I will be in the market for a backup camera. I did go the Car Toys route. OUCH!!
  22. But you want him to bite you? TWICE!? That is kinky. Who Sounds like he has a deep seated homosexual fantasy? . Sounds like time for a new topic because I am getting vaklempt here: Hedge Hog. It's neither a hedge nor a hog. Talk amongst yourselves.
  23. Yeah yeah yeah, rub it in. But 20 mp3 ringtones? You have that many friends?
