did a quick search. It comes with the bluetooth ND-BT1 adapter, and the back up camera ND-BC2. Only thing I want is the back up camera.

I find that learning mode took quite a while to learn my preferred route to and from various locations. Sometimes, I found that only after selecting one of the suggested routes, then going my own preferred route, did it learn.

check out Logic Computer House in TO. They carry the 80GB Toshiba drive. Basically, any of the small clone computer shops can source the drive. IT is available from their distributors, so worst case it might take one or two days to arrive.

I know you said none of the buttons work, but.. How about the eject button? If you can get the eject button to work, you could try re-imaging your hard drive. Could also be a problem with your power connection.

what are the differences with the Z2X? Come on Vlad..share..

there should be an icon on the screen for voice commands. You can not initiate voice commands from the blackberry to the Z2.

go the service menu of the unit, and check your satellite signal. Make sure you are receiving a good connection. That could be the cause of the problem.

as long as you set up the bypass properly, according to the above instructions, then everything will work fine.

I would be hesitant to try a refurb unit. IF the issue was the hard drive, Pioneer would have just swapped that for the user.

has anyone tried the traffic service in Canada recently?

not sure if this is the right place to ask, but: If I purchase a new drive, do I need to unlock it, so that the image will work? I know the Avic locks the drive after I put it in, but a brand new drive should be ok. Thoughts?

they advertise that it works in Canada, but I couldn't get it to work. I had a US subscription, and it did not work in Canada. the system couldn't find a traffic channel for Toronto. When I called US support they said, call Canadian support as you want it to work in Canada. Called Canadian support, and they didn't know how to help.

I also have an 8703E, and could not find a way to do the bluetooth transfer. I am going to give it another go tomorrow.

that is a good question. Do the drives from pioneer come pre-loaded? or would I still ahve to load my image?

Thank you, I wasn't aware of the mic being from the Z1. I needed the picture, as I am having trouble with mine. I'm not sure if the installer didn't connect the mic, or I'm just not seeing where it is located.

I know this is going to seem strange, but.. Can someone post a pic of the mic from the BT1 ?
