my buddy works at bestbuy in the states he said the ones going for 699 are open box/returns...thats why they are selling them for 699 but ya i dunno thats just what he heard at his workplace(bestbuy)

put the nav disc in.....program your route....take the nav disc out and insert your cd...you cant change routes or nothing like that when the nav disc aint in there but atleast you can follow guidance cuz with the disk out it switches to harddrive so you can still follow the route u programmed and see some roads u are driving on the way there and listen to music

i called pioneer they said dont be expecting a d4 or something to replace the d3 anytime soon....probably end of this year MAYBE.....

a guy on here acctually did his comparasion on the alpine with the blackbird.....he came to the conclusion that he preferred the d3 over the alpine any day...

oh ya definetly forgot to say that ..... get better comps up front rather than the pioneer premiers....and ya we really need more info on what your looking for with subs and what kind of space requirements we are lookin at

the pdx 1.1000 is awesome! have it love it!.....and for a 10" sub...well what kind of vehicle are you putting it in?....how much mounting depth do you have? if thats not a worry why not try a JL audio W6....will bump your vehicle so much harder than that Mtx with the alpine pdx 1000 pushing it

i dont think you can play the video from there....you have to play it off the ipod and set the output on the ipod to TV....under the video settings.....thats the only down part having to play the videos off the ipod but whatever i dont watches videos on it just got it for my subs to bump.....i got the same thing as you the d3 and 8gb ipod nano

correct me if im wrong or jsut staright up tell me im a idiot lol....but anyways shouldnt the audio outs just go to something producing sound? and the video out to tv's because well they produce video and there not speakers so why would they need to have audio out hooked up to the screens?.....

i try selecting rear view from nav mode and it just shows a black screen

i got a back up camera on my truck and it turns on when i put the truck in reverse......how do i turn it on while i drive??? i tried pressing back up camrea on the thing in menu and it just turns to a blak screen with the back up camera warning

the ipod cable for the d3 plugs into the rear of the unit...requiring you to take it out and plug it in that way you get control of the ipod (switching tracks, etc) on the d3

ok well i set the output to tv and it still didnt play on the screen....

my ipod is already hooked up to the d3....songs and stuff are playing.......just wanting to know how to play videos from the ipod on the screen noww...

ok i got a new 8gb nano today and put some music videos on it....how do i get them to play on the d3?....i pushed video when its on the ipod screen and nothing just a black screen shows up saying use ipod for full operation....what in the hell lol....sorry if this has already been covered in another thread i couldnt really find it.....apologize before hand if anyone gets mad thanks for your help

i felt like a bum with my 04 f-150 on 24's and my system....lol there was a viper in the shop next to mine getting subs put in and a ferrari outside and a few other nice suvs like navigators and escalades

got it all done today took the installer about 20 minutes....awesome so much better then b4 no more pulling over and checking up anytihng in the navi menu or whatnot....works great havent tried the video yet but ill throw some music videos on my ipod later tonight

ya its gonna make things alot easier....and ya shouldnt take that long the installer said its gonna take him about 30-40 minutes to do it tomorrow

there are lots of posts on this forum about how to bypass it go to the AVIC d3 hacks/mods section you'll find the sticky there....its quite simple im just not doing it myself cuz im not to familure with this kinda stuff and im pretty lazy

well are you installing it yourself?....the bypass is very simple just follow the instructions on this forum you gotta move the mute wire over and ground off the parking wire......i just have no experience doing this myself so the installer will do it for me.....only reason im paying $50 is cuz i didnt do it when i got the unit installed in the first place...........when you get it installed just tell the installer or do it yourself bypass the unit...might charge you like 20$ more or something but when installing it its not that much trouble mines just taking it back out doing that and then pu
